[Well, this is...happening. This is a thing. This is your life now. The Commander is expecting you to just up and kill one another, and then try to get away with it. No big deal, right? You guys can handle this. You won't fall for what she has. She's clearly an idiot. A loud idiot, but still an idiot. She's not going to get one over you.

...Right?

In any case, the Commander's quarters are now open for anyone who decides they can actually stand to be in the same room as her, but beware - any favor you might ask of her is going to come at a price, and who knows what she'll ask you to do if you decide to gain a boon from her. Unless you're a suck-up like Baku - then she'll apparently be flattered. Maybe that's a good tactic to use?


Whatever you do, try not to murder the bread again. The Bread Did Nothing Wrong.

Whoa, hey, wait - I didn't mean it like that. Wouldn't mind the company, really... I don't even know what I'm looking for.

[And, well, if there is somebody there, maybe he'll stop expecting that girl to be with him. It really feels wrong, thinking "that girl", but....]

That's....odd. [Noted and filed. It's done so often and casually that if he had to guess he'd think it was habitual? Hm. He'll need to think more about this...] You are right, though. No one could be expected to be okay, in a situation like this.

[Not that he's doing too great at that himself, if even a kid is noticing he's not all put together. A kid who seems to be doing way better at it, which is... a little concerning, but not as much as it probably should be.]

Something like that. [Have a smile that might mean he has other ideas. He's not a mischievous type, but that doesn't mean he doesn't cook up a scheme or two.]

[He's never been the one making a scheming face himself, but Jonathan's been around - damn it, why can't he remember her name?! - someone who was always the one planning things for most of his life. He knows that kind of smile. He smiles back, eyes narrowing.]
