[during long swathes of the party you can find Angela not in the mess hall proper but in the kitchen. looming over eggplant with a kitchen knife and chopping it into fine pieces, swearing at the vegetable as if that's the source of her continuing tears.

there's a six pack of glass bud lite bottles on the counter next to her. only five are entirely full.]

[ Baku is here but he's really just here for food. That's it. He's rather reserved. So he's got his plate and a drink and he's largely just keeping to himself because fuck this place. But he is dressed in a snazzy new outfit that seems to almost belong on him! ]

[Barbara is here, but she doesn't look like she wants to be here. She has some stuff on the table in front of her, with the film reel being clutched against her chest. She stares at them, wondering why the damn thing even gave her shaving kit.

You can find him gently moving around to check on everyone, even the people who aren't here. He'll be looking at rooms to try to find people and go talk to them to the best of his ability.

If anything, he seems to have taken on a fatherly role, wanting to just... help. ]
