Not just for him. He was somewhere like this before - and one of my classmates was there with him. He thought everyone there had died, including Karma-kun.

Apparently the Karma-kun he knew was very fond of me, but... There must be something I'm missing, because it makes no sense otherwise. If...if that's part of the reason, then.... And if he's been somewhere like this before, then he'd be the most useful person to have around.

[That, and he'd been a tangle of emotions he's still trying to make sense of. A lot of things were running through his head...]
