[ So Marie's dead now, which means they are FULL game to have earned a break. He'll see what he can scrounge up to cook up something for everyone in the kitchen, and he's totally going to get some alcohol for some people and possibly out of spite some of her wine from the cellar.

And make sure everyone has something. Tea, if not alcohol desired, or water.

He's also going to be making sure Jonathan is taken care of, and rebandaging his wound, and whatnot. You never know!

He is totally busting out the cute dress Angela made for this. ]

[Surprisingly, Barbara isn't at the party this time. Where could she be, you may ask? Well, if you go to the second floor, and get near the den, you might hear the reason why.

Seems that Barbara is letting out her rage in an interesting way: wrecking Marie's custom made room with her favorite wine.

[ Baku will first be found at the party. He'll make merry, have a good time and let loose. No alcohol, only tea and food, and he'll enjoy himself. Even dance, if anyone is up for it. ]

Tonight, we party. Tomorrow, private showers for everyone! Who wants the Commander's room? I think that's empty now!

[ Even later, though, he can be found taking that fancy, blue card he obtained and looking around and trying to use it. See what he can unlock. See what he can find. Because his curiosity is insatiable. Someone miiiight wanna stick with him before he finds deadly neurotoxin. ]

[This entire business sickens him. Jonathan wants to curl up in a ball and sleep for months. He does not want to be on the edge of a celebration having gauze pulled out of his hair. He doesn't want to celebrate, period.

So yes, he looks pretty sullen once C's done with him for the moment. He doesn't want to stand up too soon, though. The dizziness is still there. So is the pain. This sucks and he hates it.

And anyone who gets a look at his face can tell.]

[Angela is now just sitting down close to his bedside. Her expression is the exact same shape as that smile she plastered on.]

[It's significantly later in the night when Nagisa makes an appearance for someone other than his brothers. After his admission during the trial, he gets it if most of the others don't want much to do with him...he thinks he's made it pretty clear he doesn't want to kill anyone who's left, but well. A lack of trust is deadly.

I guess we do have the run of the place now.

[ On one hand, Nagisa is someone he'd like on his side. On the other, Nagisa could probably murder him and no one would find the body for there to be a trial. ]

Mm, at the very least we should see if there's an actual infirmary somewhere. I trust that her boss will eventually show up, and that might end up a fight. We could use real medical supplies.

It wouldn't be too surprising to find one, in a facility like this.Or, if not a dedicated room or supplies, some...means. [There's a frickin' laser room why wouldn't they have some kind of medbay. Or maybe the living base can do something, he doesn't know.]

For the motive, Commander-san said she could contact the dead through the base, right? If she wasn't lying, that means we don't actually need her for that.

Maybe we'll find it. But I'm focusing on medical supplies. The lab is nice, but I don't recall it having too much. Maybe the Commander has a map in her room... A more complete one.

[ So, first stop, the commander's room. Time to snoop! Anything that looks like it could lead to a med bay or something? ]

[Nothing that screams "med bay", but considering how Marie had healed a certain cut, there is a bloodied washcloth sticking out of a laundry pile in the corner.

She clearly didn't do her own laundry that often, blech.]

Don't tell C. I figure, I didn't keep this stuff from the Miller brothers, I can't keep it from you. [She traces her fingertip down the side of a table or something.] Molly and I tested it out, it should be more nourishing than you'd think...

[Jonathan blinks, and then sips at the cup, struggling to keep his lips sealed around the straw - he wants to smile, wants to laugh at the way it loops around itself. This whole situation is just so weird.

But that is definitely beer. Good beer, not bitter, more like the stuff he'd tried in England before they jumped the Channel than not.]

My head feels a little better. For real. Did you... is this spelled? Wait, no, wrong word - enchanted?

[All their mages were sealed up, weren't they? If there was even one left besides Yurick. But with Marie dead, then maybe...]

[ ...Okay time to test if this is normal water, as gross as it is to drink after that person. Gonna take a damn sip and then scratch at himself. Listen, this place is weird enough, maybe it's fucking healing water. ]

[It tastes like water. Strangely sweet water, but still water.

How big a scratch are we talking, by the way?]

[ Big enough to be noticeable and have little blood bubbles. That's it. Almost like a light cat scratch. ]

After a few seconds, the scratch does indeed start to heal.]
