[Once everyone has managed to gather every piece of evidence they can get their hands on, there is, at last, a sense that they can go up to the top on the elevator that works. Granted, with access now granted, they probably could have gone up at any time, but it they would have been ill-prepared for what might be up there.

In any case, they might not have needed to worry.]



[Barbara will no doubt recognize this place as where Marie brought her just the previous week. It is a master control room, filled with buttons and levers that line the walls. However, the dome also allows for a view of what's outside - of the skies, the stars, the planets. The alpine valley the Base is situated, with its bubbling waterfall, and the crystal-clear blue lake it empties into, surrounded by flowers below the Base's base. The lake itself empties into a crystal clear river that looks to be narrow, but deep and rapid.

In the center of the room, near where the elevator rises out of the floor, is a chair, with a giant plush of that cheeky raccoon snuggled into it. Once everyone has come into the room, the elevator melts into the floor with a slurping sound. Now, everyone is here - and there's only one seat, meaning almost everyone will be standing for the duration of this discussion. There's no food or drink here, either - the Titled will have to make do with whatever they brought with them.

There's is a rumble below, as the Titled, together with Bottson and their menagerie of animals - gather together for one last trial. Everyone and everything in this universe may be at stake, and ultimately, either they all go home - or no one will.]


[It's time! The objectives are simple in this trial. It's time to finally answer the questions the Titled have about why they are here - and face the Mastermind of the Base.

Most importantly, though - who's got dibs on that chair? It's the only one in the room!

[Barbara is still a wreck, but she can’t just stand around and be useless! She needs to take action!

She’s got two stacks of papers in her hands, separated by her thumb, and (since no one objected) a laser machine gun under one arm, which she carefully sets down with the paper.]

There were also these papers that talked about something called Project Diatron. They...pretty much explain how and why we’re in Ivy’s body, and even how we got our powers.

The other stack was...kind of out of place, I think? I mean, it was a weird room full of weapons, but I didn’t think this...situation had anything to do with these Orders.

Sherry is a kind of white wine, and wine comes in the main types red and white, and the white king was on one side of the war, and the white wine was a big deal for some reason... It seems like they should all fit together somehow...

Actually, that's incorrect. AIHA causes your own body to attack your own red blood cells, but I wouldn't call it common disorder.

Um, I’m not sure how to say it, but...is that something someone is born with? Or is it something that can just...happen? To anyone?

Halley-san changed something about the red ones, right? If the body thought they were foreign, the immune system - including white blood cells - would attack them...

[A pause.]

My mom's a doctor. General practice, but... you hear stuff you aren't supposed to when you're a kid and it sticks in your head, you know?

Do you think she might’ve been involved with the Sherry side? She didn’t seem like the type to fight very well, but...

[The entirety of last week kinda proves that wrong.]

... So we were definitely somehow shrunken... and put into some woman's body.

[ He buries his palm gently against his forehead. ]

You know what? It's not even the weirdest thing I've learned lately. Go figure.

[ After remembering Scarlotte, nothing surprises him anymore. ]

This future is weird and I still intend to punch whoever thought it was a good idea to send us here.

Are you sure we were shrunken, or is there still the possibility that she's... tarrasque-sized?

Unlikely. It says here in the paper that Project Diatron involved the nanometric resizing of volunteers. As in, on the nano-scale. Which means very small. Blood cell levels. If they were giant sized, there'd be no need to shrink someone that small.

That's a good question. I never would have volunteered for such a venture, let alone I have no idea how they found a God inside what was, essentially, a bubble. The House was self-contained.

At least one of these abilities is mind control, though...

I have serious concerns if they managed to mind control me. I may not look like much, but I am capable of revival of the dead if their soul data is intact. It's possible they caught me in a... moment of weakness, looking after my vessel, I suppose. It isn't like I'm omnipotent or anything.

... I do wonder, though, how we ended up here, when it's obvious we were supposed to fix this mess somehow?

What would be the purpose? Commander-san and/or Halley-san erased our memories - we know that much. Why would they keep these specific ones separate?

And if it wasn't them but the people who sent us here who took these....why? What did they expect to accomplish?

I don't know. Especially why they seem to think it was a good idea to send me on this kind of job.
