WEEK 3
[It has begun. With the death of the Spinner and the execution of the Indulgent, they remaining Titled will be plagued once more by vivid dreams. And just as last week, they are awoken by the sounds of doors creaking open.
Just like last week. But no one had died last week. Right? No one had been subjected to that...thing.
And yet the strange, cold feeling of foreboding remains. And it is certainly most worrisome to those living in rooms 3, 4, 6, and 15. Those who pass by room 7 and 8 will feel that same, worrisome feeling of foreboding as well.
What will they wake up to find? Who knows, now. If dragons are real, anything is possible.
There are thirteen strangers in this place.]

(It probably would be, in his own world Celegorm murmurs thoughtfully)
He brings his hands up to block, and Killua will find that Maglor is, indeed, stronger than he looks, although he might have guessed from that runners build revealed when they had to strip. He's been wandering the shoreline for millenia, but times are not safe - and he still fights. He's both quick and agile, although not quite up to Killua's standards, and far stronger than he looks ]

If anything, Killua really is getting into this.
This was demonstrated by when he pulled back, shifted by twisting his body a little and aimed a quick uppercut that should connect with Maglor's jaw if he was quick enough. Any force behind this was slightly subdued, holding back just a touch because he wasn't doing this to try and break or severely damage the other man at all. ]

He's old, after all, and although he's clearly more used to fighting with a blade (or two) in his hands, one doesn't survive as long as he has without knowing how to fight.
He seems to read Killua's moves almost before he makes them, that breath of time ahead that keeps him one step ahead. But he can't move fast enough, and that's all that one moment takes.
It shouldn't have felled him, that one blow - Killua was holding back, and Maglor has taken much, much worse.
But it does ]

Aforementioned elf who is... not moving.
He'd held back and with his diminished strength, it shouldn't have done more than knock him back, but with how he was sure Maglor was reading his moves? How had this hit actually done this to him so easily? The chance remained that maybe his punch really had done substantial damage but it didn't seem likely, moving in a heartbeat to kneel at Maglor's side. ]
H-Hey!! Look! I didn't mean to hit you that hard... are you okay?
[ He's just a little freaked out right now because what was going on? In a moment or two it'd hit him but for now that panic he was kind of feeling was very real. ]
...Maglor...?

(He's always been stubborn, though - it's practically a defining trait of their House)
About all he can manage is a moan.
(He's too pale. This isn't the unconsciousness of a hit. It looks like something drained him) ]

Not that it made this situation freak him out any less, leaning in to take a closer look the best he was able to and that's when something registered in his mind. A regular punch shouldn't have been enough to cause someone to go down like this so easily, let alone make them look so pale...
Something occurred to him in that instance and his gaze fell down to his hands with wide blue eyes. ]
Agh!! Damn it!!
[ So what he'd read in that stupid journal was right! Though he had to wonder why the other times when people touched him that this hadn't been set off. Making him muse on if it'd been because of that very factor and the idea that any contact besides that had been through clothes so it'd have to be passed by his direct touch for it to work. ]
...I'd move you but I don't wanna make this worse, okay? You should be fine soon, and you can be mad at me if you want.
[ With that, he moved to fully sit down in the grass next to Maglor as he wasn't going to leave the man like this since he'd accidentally caused this to happen. ]
no subject
Can't... hate you. [ He murmurs softly ] Not... your fault.
no subject
D-Don't...! You'll just make it worse and I.. I'm sorry...
[ His voice faltered at the end, gaze cast downward and away from Maglor. ]
I know I didn't mean to cause it but I did... how is it not my fault?
no subject
[ Maglor finally manages to get enough energy to sit upright a little ]
I think now we have a better idea of what happened with Yusuke, also. It seems for some of us, the power is quite involuntary.
no subject
Yeah... I didn't think it'd work that quickly, either.
[ He finally looked back up and over to Maglor, reluctance showing on his face. ]
...Are you going to be okay now?
no subject
[ Maglor smiles at him fondly ] No harm done, eh? I promise, I am feeling much better now.
no subject
[ That's something he 100% means, unable to shake that feeling of guilt from having done that to someone he actually cares about. ]
Think you'd be up for sparring sometime again? I'd have to get gloves to wear so there wouldn't be a repeat of things like this, so you don't have to worry about that.
no subject
I would enjoy that. You are fast, and clearly very skilled. I think I would enjoy seeing what you can do. And I'm out of practive fighting with empty hands.
