WEEK 3

[It has begun. With the death of the Spinner and the execution of the Indulgent, they remaining Titled will be plagued once more by vivid dreams. And just as last week, they are awoken by the sounds of doors creaking open.

Just like last week. But no one had died last week. Right? No one had been subjected to that...thing.

And yet the strange, cold feeling of foreboding remains. And it is certainly most worrisome to those living in rooms 3, 4, 6, and 15. Those who pass by room 7 and 8 will feel that same, worrisome feeling of foreboding as well.

What will they wake up to find? Who knows, now. If dragons are real, anything is possible.

Obviously, a virus doesn't have anything to do with combat. It's not like every human on earth is in a war or anything. It's the other symptom, that makes the virus so deadly. I don't know why exactly but... it messes with the infected's head in other ways...

[Ways that are obviously making him very nervous, since they supposedly have it. And this time, there's no "Fanatic Bio R" supposedly cancelling it out.]

... until they kill themselves. C-Commit suicide.

It means I used to think way faster than this, and I'm not enjoying being effectively human.

But that other symptom...am I right to guess that it'd be...even worse in someone who already believes they shouldn't have survived something they went through?

If you think that was luck, you're in for a nasty surprise if you start anything again. Just don't attack anyone who didn't agree to a fight, we don't want a temper tantrum to possibly turn into another Inquisition.

Plenty of ways. The human throat and temples are disproportionately fragile for their importance, and a sharp blow to either could easily cause a mortal wound we don't have the equipment to treat. The carotid artery is very close to the skin, and so are major arteries in the arms and legs. Internal bleeding from a poorly placed contusion might not even be noticed until it's too late. And that's not even counting the possibility of impacts with surrounding objects, or someone else having a power that could escalate the situation.

What do you expect? I'm a weapon, I've been training to kill people since I could understand instructions. Plus, it'd be a waste not to take advantage of the fact that I look like a normal child when unarmed.
