I seriously don't think a whip can knock someone unconscious! They're supposed to be light and slashy! Your argument doesn't make any sense... Not even the hair one, because how would it grasp that specifically? Most of these suspects have really short hair. And McBurn's is too light. I'd notice if it was fucking pink.
