[The first sensation you feel is a headache. It's brief, slicing, sharp. It passes soon after you wake up, but it is there nevertheless, and the pain is not easily forgotten. Perhaps your eyes also blur as if roused from a deep sleep; perhaps your tongue also feels off, like you swallowed a bug. It's not pleasant.

More unpleasant, though, is the second sensation that dawns on you all-this is not your bed. This, in fact, is unrecognizable. It is not anywhere you recall coming to, willingly or otherwise. It's a room with a bunk, and there is a strange smell in the air that is hard to ignore.

No, you are no longer home. Any possessions you may have had on you are gone, save your clothing and a strange watch you can't get off, no matter how hard you try. And when you run into the hallway, well-you might find yourself running into others who might be just as confused and scared as you are as the area around you slowly sways, up and down, left and right.

What is this place? Why are you here? Who are all these other people?

Ah, so curses and the like? Seems a touch dangerous, but I've never the slightest inclination to pursue magecraft myself.

There's good reason it's not commonly practiced. Though it seems this place is under some kind of magic suppressing effect, so even if you had pursued it, it wouldn't be very useful right now.

Good thinking. Those would both run throughout the building, and even if passage to the more important center were sealed off, even just a direction would be important information.

Not as of yet. The plug seems to be decoration at best, though it seems that one can turn it on, at least. Though that shouldn't have an impact on my accessing its code.

[ And he does lead the way. He's amused and doesn't believe Roland is actually thinking what he appears to think, so he wants to see if he says anything as they head towards the rooms. ]

[ There's a pause, then Roland moved in with surprising ease to just... plant a straightforward kiss on Aoi's lips.

Pulling back right after as if nothing was wrong. ]

[ He's all smiles now, eager to be as helpful as he can here. ]

[ There's a brief look of confusion here, one eyebrow raised. ]

A coworker of mine also was the type to ask for a kiss as entry to her lab, and I was fine with that too.
