[Sometime early friday, everyone would get a visit from the local speedy robot - carrying a message about a Meeting in the mess hall.
Once you arrive, you might be surprised to see Moriarty there - how the fuck did he get there from his room? - currently sitting on a beanbag and trying to look like the stains on his blouse don't bother him.
Or that he isn't fucking covered in stab wounds that just stopped goddamn bleeding.]
...Thank you for coming.
[OW ow it hurts to talk (and it hurts to do anything tbh) but he will soldier on anyway, fuck it.]
I assumed, given everything, that we - mmn - should have a meeting on the week's events, as well as...share any information we all might have gleaned.
[A bit painfully, he points towards a plastic ziplock bag on the table he's sitting at, which has some short white hair inside of it.]
I found those in the...infirmary sink. They appear to be from something cat-like, though I - didn't manage to find anything else or...glean more information.
[A minor pause, mostly because he's gotta give himself a second to let some of the pain settle.]
There is another matter. When Zero first revealed himself - to us, he allowed me...a 'glimpse' of 'what hangs over us all,' saying we would...'understand the ramifications one day.' It appears to be some sort of...poem, or perhaps a riddle.
[A breath, and then he begins to recite.]
"Dispersed among us, be it with love or hate; Filled to the brim, yet empty and bare. Great as mountains, yet we know them too late; Always with you, and yet never there."
[Another pause, because man. you learn to appreciate your lung capacity when you've been stabbed there.]
I have it also written on a paper next to the bag - [gestures at it] - if anyone would like to memorize it or go over it again.
[And with that, he's going to lapse into silence, allowing other people to talk about whatever they've found. Hopefully someone can bring like, snacks, because he's not really in any shape to provide them.]
