[It's been one week on the Gigantic
and it's clear that Zero
is a big dickzzzzzsht



A week has passed. However, there is no denying anymore that the power Zero possesses is very real. One person is already dead because of this, regardless of what, exactly, the Gimme's role in it was.

There is also no denying that the ship is somehow powered by blood, if not made of blood entirely. Why? How? And what do the clues uncovered in the previous week have to do with it?

The watches, meanwhile have not changed in any way. Everyone is still in their color groups. The doors to the next floor are still locked as well. Perhaps those are also murder dependent. Which is...also not good. But at least there's food and laundry down here, so...maybe it'll get boring eventually, but for now, infinite confinement on the bottom decks of the ship may not be so bad. right?

I mean, I just figured he's doing one of those stupid guy things where they think any emotions are a weakness or something and get embarrassed about it.

Granted, I never really saw any real human romance be too complex, I've only ever had the one or possibly two players of my computer game, but romance is just so much! I joked about this at first, but seeing people be cute or comfortable around each other is one of the most beautiful things anyone can ever see, even more beautiful than any sight of any stellar object or phenomena!

I'm not like Cupid, I don't just ship because I want things to be cute. Even though it's a good reason to ship... I actually take the time to put a lot of thought into this. And to see someone just throw it away because they want to hide their emotions is one of the saddest things in the world to me...

Okay, how about this? If he's being stupid about it, you can just talk to him and try to reason with him about it.

Or, hey, maybe I'm not even right, and he just loves this Heart person so much that he'll do anything for them, like that's the weakness.

You don't really know until you ask.

[Hermes takes a moment to catch his nonexistent breath, managing a weary smile.]

Hopefully, things won't be as dire as him not wanting to be in a relationship or trying to hide it. After all, ships can go in wildly unexpected ways and sometimes, you'll be pleasantly surprised! You just have to keep at it and find the right person.

[Deep breaths, just spit it out. Or some of it, anyway.]

I'm not against it at all, I just...the last guy I was interested wasn't exactly Prince Charming - pretty much the opposite, really, and for me, that was literally a week ago or two, so I'm not exactly eager to get back into finding someone.

Plus, I already have someone invested in my love life when I'm not interested in anything right now, and Emily was enough to deal with, last time I saw her.

I'm sorry I snapped before, I just was dealing with...all of that, and it kind of took a toll on me.

Actually, maybe I could see her life being that crazy, but I feel like any story she had about bad crushes would just end with her killing them.

If it was Val, it probably would've also included the phrase "piece of shit" in there, too. She's not one to shy away from colorful language.

Though I think Moriarty may have thought it was embarrassment or something instead of frustration.

And...it can be both. It was mostly frustration, but there was some embarrassment there too.
