Afterparty Buffet

[So, that trial sure happened, didn't it? And on nearly empty stomachs, no less. That's why people might catch Alastor headed for the kitchen as soon as they're out of the theater, obviously intent on making food. He's in there a while, actually, and the hallway outside of it smells strongly of some rather tasty food.

What he's up to will become clear when he goes around to tell people to visit the mess hall. There, he's set up a varied buffet on one of the tables, all of various foods easy to serve in small portions. This includes small slices of beef only very lightly seared on the outside, but also more fully cooked fare, and even a few fruit and vegetable dishes. Plus the requisite spread of alcohol, because it sure has been A Day, huh?

...Also, while Hermes obviously doesn't eat, he still gets the instructions to go to the mess hall. Huh.]

[Hubert returns Roland's blade after the execution, face stony as he walks away. He only stops to pick up Akane (and she's so small that even he doesn't have much issue) and take her to the infirmary.

Once she's cared for he makes his way to the mess hall and goes right for the booze.

... as the night goes on he does eat, he knows he will be chastised if he doesn't. But more than that... he gets deep into his cups. Deep, deep in them. Don't worry, he's a sullen drunk]

Mess Hall

[Hermes is good at following directions, especially if it's from people he likes. When he notices the sign, he obediently complies. But he isn't like his usual perky, excitable self. Hermes is just... frowning. Sullen.

He lost two friends today.]

First-Class Room

[Those of you that try to enter the first-class room may find it locked. Outside, there's a sign that says "GO AWAY", written in blue marker, in Hermes's handwriting.]

[ Aoi stops by eventually. ]

Pace yourself. Do you even drink all that much?

Mess Hall

[When Hubert enters the hall and spots Hermes he goes right to him, eyes steely.

There's no yelling. No aggression. Just bluntly:]

As long as we are trapped on this damned ship, do not speak to me again.

[And walks away]

I do not.

That's it. We're sticking together tonight.

I gotta make sure you stay safe.

It WOULD be quite funny if someone took advantage after all of that.

[Alastor just...sits down next to him and puts a glass of water on the table. He has a plate of nearly raw beef himself, with a pouch of something red tucked under an arm.]

Here, wouldn't want a hangover.

[ Aoi pushes him a little. ]

Oh? I find it hilarious.

Don't worry, I don't intent to do anything foolish. I have too much I need to accomplish.

[Ritsu does not eat. She can't, really.

But she does come to the mess hall, with some stained papers and a pencil. She's just kind of...hanging out, off to one end away from the buffet.

Away where the smell of her won't put people off of eating.]

[Hubert is also eating the red meat, and he nods at the water]

Thank you, Alastor. But if I don't get a hangover I have clearly not drank enough.

The only person possibly taking advantage of you is me, and I'm not that crass when someone's drunk.

Ah. Unfortunate. Another time then.

But you had it rough with that last set of motives, right? Don't want you making yourself sicker.

[ Oh he is a bit exhausted after this past week, then that trial sure was something else. He's long since fully re-dressed back up and all too happy to come to the Mess Hall, where he's got a sizeable plate of food.

Also a cup of alcohol because yeah. He might not be getting drunk as he did last week but... this is necessary. ]

It won't kill me.

I know, I know. You are not the type.

But do keep an eye on me. I would hate to say something unfortunate.

You willing to take that risk, when we've seen Delta make things miserable for us if no one kills on their own?

And if you sober up in the morning, I'll reward you for it.

[He grumbles. How dare you logic him while he's depressed]

Hm. Very well.

[As soon as he sees Roland sit down, he just...flops next to him, with a plate of bloody beef. And yeah, he has a bottle of wine and a glass in his other hand, because...yeah.]

Glad that at least didn't put people off their appetites, but...yikes.
