Akane helps drag anyone who needs it out of the theater as best as she, a tiny frail sick girl, can, before heading straight to Hubert's room and retrieving the letter he had told her was there, and then finding a sheet of paper, a pen, and a small knife, writing a short one of her own, and paying Charon to send it to the afterlife.

After this she brings Hubert's letter to the mess hall, as gathering for food after these things seems like the common thread that's bound all of them together.

Akane herself still has a lowgrade fever, and that last trial was not easy on her, but it seems to her like there's more important things to do at the moment.]

Why are you so convinced it has to be underwater? I mean... sure, it's a sunken ship, maybe, but it's not like we've run out of air.

Mainly, because there isn't any real light coming in through the windows. There are areas of the underworld without much light, but...

I have reasons I don't want to be there.

What windows? Everything is covered by metal plates.

The tea room has some, but it's all fake sunlight. We can't actually see outside.

Exactly. But that could just be a choice to isolate us. I don't think that there's been any indication we are underwater. Isn't saying that just borrowing trouble, in any case? I'm sure I couldn't swim all the way to the surface from the bottom of the ocean. And, even if you have bigger lungs than me, I doubt you could hold your breath that long either. Besides, there's compression sickness, and pressure....

I think it's more likely they don't want us knowing where we are.

And I don't like our chances of escaping Hell intact without magic, so if we are in an afterlife...hope it's not the one I'm from.

Is Charon in Hell, where you're from? He's only associated with the Greek afterlife as far as I've heard, which would seem to suggest that it's that specific underworld, if any.

I don't know if he's there anymore...a lot of the older, more human-friendly devils were probably wiped out by Mundus. This isn't the Charon I know, though.

Most Greek gods were actually devils where I'm from. I know Dante has what's left of Artemis, along with a Cerberus.
