WEEK 1

WEEK 1

[You now know why you're here, Titled. The question now is, is there a way to get out of here without invoking the rules? What will those who brought you here do to get you to kill?

Time will tell.

There are fifteen strangers in this place.]
foolishjustice: (Nice day isn't it?)

Sushi!

[personal profile] foolishjustice 2017-11-28 05:57 am (UTC)(link)
[You know what one thing is that Akechi can't resist? Sweets. But another thing he can't resist is sushi, which is why he's decided to come into the sushi place for dinner. It's only conveyor belt, but sushi is sushi...and he immediately sits down and grabs a plate of tuna nigiri from the belt. It's only after he's taken a bite of his own food that he notices the plate sitting sad by itself.]

I take it you decided to be a little adventurous and discovered something you aren't fond of?

I took a piece, and it pretty much tastes like semen.

[ He's just. Going to put that out there. It's true though.

...oh hey at least that eel looks appetizing, he's gonna take that and dig into it instead. ]

foolishjustice: (My hair...)

[personal profile] foolishjustice 2017-11-28 06:15 am (UTC)(link)
[He sure is choking on his sushi now, good job. He coughs a few times, and surely his face is just bright red from the bit of rice that went down the wrong way!]

Th-that's...quite the...description. I wouldn't know the comparison, so I'll...simply take your word for it.
steelmagnolias: (the air tastes just like you)

[personal profile] steelmagnolias 2017-11-28 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
[ Ren does have a basis of comparison for this, although right now he's not gonna bring it up more. ]

...I've never seen anything like this in my world.
foolishjustice: (This looks bad.)

[personal profile] foolishjustice 2017-11-28 06:23 pm (UTC)(link)
That's a little surprising.

[Coughing and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. Hopefully he can wipe that bit of rice off his glove before Ren sees it, that's gross.]

Consumption of fish eggs seems to be at least heard of in several different cultures.
steelmagnolias: so rigorous, she's vigorous (a limb disposed of)

[personal profile] steelmagnolias 2017-11-28 07:38 pm (UTC)(link)
That doesn't surprise me, but I've never seen one so tiny.

[ THE SMALLEST BUGS IN HIS WORLD ARE STILL THE SIZE OF TARANTULAS. And most fish he's familiar with are still pretty big. ]
foolishjustice: (This better not be decaf...)

[personal profile] foolishjustice 2017-11-28 07:43 pm (UTC)(link)
You must have quite large fish in your world.

[Wait, is that a beef bowl coming down the conveyor belt? Grabbing that.]

Particularly with the number of eggs most species lay at once.
steelmagnolias: (with you on the floor)

[personal profile] steelmagnolias 2017-11-28 08:01 pm (UTC)(link)
[ He's still finishing up that eel, mostly because he's not a teenager with a black hole for a stomach anymore. ]

I wouldn't say most of the stuff back home is too big, [ although that's just because he's desensitized to it, probably ] but pretty much everything I can think of only lays a handful at once.

I mean, shit, if you get something like a Garchomp or a Donphan? You'll probably only get one.
foolishjustice: (Delicious caffeine.)

[personal profile] foolishjustice 2017-11-28 08:32 pm (UTC)(link)
[He has no clue what those are, because Pokemon is not owned by Atlas.]

They must be far more parental than the fish I'm familiar with, then. Most fish species in my world will lay hundreds of eggs at a time and pay little to no attention to the hatched offspring. In some species, the males will even attempt to eat the newly hatched fry. So, large numbers of eggs are necessary to keep the population stable.

[He punctuates that horrifying fact with a drink of coffee. Coffee that wasn't there a second ago, but why waste a good power? Besides, it's working wonders for his sore throat from choking on his sushi.]
steelmagnolias: (jasmine and rose)

[personal profile] steelmagnolias 2017-11-28 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
[Ren, meanwhile, is gonna take a sip of his tea, unfazed by this.]

Makes sense.

Most Pokemon aren't something you wanna fuck with.
foolishjustice: (May I help you?)

[personal profile] foolishjustice 2017-11-28 10:06 pm (UTC)(link)
[Mmmm, beef bowl. He's eating neatly, but it's not exactly subtle that he's very hungry.]

Pokemon? I'm not familiar with that term.
steelmagnolias: (opium and poison)

[personal profile] steelmagnolias 2017-11-29 08:15 am (UTC)(link)
...huh.

[ There's literally no one in his world who doesn't know what a Pokemon is. ]

They're creatures that... live pretty much everywhere. They have different powers depending on what kind of Pokemon they are, and there's probably thousands of different kinds. I'd be here all week if I had to explain all of them.

Almost everyone I know back home takes care of at least one. It's kind of hard to function if you don't.
