WEEK 1
[You now know why you're here, Titled. The question now is, is there a way to get out of here without invoking the rules? What will those who brought you here do to get you to kill?
Time will tell.
There are fifteen strangers in this place.]
The Elixir of Quietude
It may or may not go over poor Joey's head, if she wants to look more closely at just what the hell this is.]

A...recipe? Recipes? For mixed drinks? What the heck kind of journal is that?
[At least it's something normal to find under a bar, but...still. There's something weird about all this.]
[In the interest of there not being any adults around to point out how ludicrously illegal this is, Joey will take a look at one of the recipes with mostly "translated" ingredients and line the bottles up on the bar. Her curiosity is piqued, and that's second only to her imagination in her mental assets.]

2 ½ oz Rye ("whiskey", use oz. cup)
1 oz Sweet Vermouth (<- think Adelhyde, oz. cup)
2 dashes Angostura (<- think Bronson Extract)
Stir with ice <- On the rocks (in mixing glass only), mixed
Strain into cold cocktail glass (memorize glass shapes!)
Serve with cherry.
[...Would Joey like to see what else there is?]

[Who was this written for...?]
[Might as well check out other recipes. She's got nowhere to be at this point.]

1 ½ oz Whiskey (<- think Flanergide, oz. cup)
1 Bar spoon Honey (<- actual spoon!)
4 oz Boiling water (<- use sink!)
½ oz Lemon (<- lemon juice, not a lemon, think Powdered Delta but with lemons!)
Combine all ingredients in coffee cup.
Garnish with lemon (actual lemon!!) side studded with clove and enjoy.

[Joey considers the book as a whole.]
Better hold onto this and see if anyone knows what any of these strange words mean. And stop talking to myself.
