It's not pleasant to have people walk around all over your stuff, but you need the money to eat. It's not in my interest to deny people my help on that front.
[ Because she likes to think she has nothing in common with their game runners, who make them work and beg. Helena won't make people beg, with what little she can do. Taking care of the others in society... that's how it should be, even if her sheltered lifestyle hardly offered chance to practice it before. ]
