[Well, this is...happening. This is a thing. This is your life now. The Commander is expecting you to just up and kill one another, and then try to get away with it. No big deal, right? You guys can handle this. You won't fall for what she has. She's clearly an idiot. A loud idiot, but still an idiot. She's not going to get one over you.

...Right?

In any case, the Commander's quarters are now open for anyone who decides they can actually stand to be in the same room as her, but beware - any favor you might ask of her is going to come at a price, and who knows what she'll ask you to do if you decide to gain a boon from her. Unless you're a suck-up like Baku - then she'll apparently be flattered. Maybe that's a good tactic to use?


Whatever you do, try not to murder the bread again. The Bread Did Nothing Wrong.

[Back on Monday you may have observed Angela rather lost in thought. Quiet, apologetic, reacting with obligatory smiles and nods and verbal affirmations, sketching to herself on pieces of paper.

Now it's Tuesday morning and she's set up a counter in front of the weapons storage room. And her suit is nowhere to be seen? Yeah, Angela just gave herself a little updo and a bedsheet chiton!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She's set up the desk pretty thoroughly with multiple design sketches set up on folded stiff pieces of paper. Apparently some of these techniques are using pins and sheers from the weapon room. There is a paper where you can sign up.]

[Yurick is up early, and the first place he goes is the Weapon Storage. He takes his time going over the selection of daggers, finally choosing one with a shorter but broader blade and one that's long and thin. He's not used to fighting with physical weapons as much as magic but he does know how to handle daggers, and he's sure as hell not going around unarmed. He also doesn't attempt to conceal them, wearing them in sheaths strapped to his hips. Better to let the others know he's not shy about being armed.

After that, he can be found in the Kitchen and then the Mess Hall with whatever he could scrounge up for breakfast. He's sticking with tea this time, along with a random military ration, some bread, and grapes. The ration pack tastes strange but he's had worse. He'll sit in the furthest corner, by himself, and eat in silence while watching anyone else who comes in.

Finally, it's off to the Library for the rest of the day. Apparently he can read for hours without his eye getting tired, because he just sits in another quiet, distant corner of the room and starts to work his way through a pile of books about Earth.]

[ Early in the day (for even an average person, but especially so for someone like Akira), he can be found in the kitchen, looking pretty damn serious as he makes himself a cup of coffee. He can be seen starting to make himself food, changing his mind... going back to starting with making food, and then finally just walking out of the kitchen without anything to eat.

Okay, Akira.

It's not long after that, he can be found in the Weapons Storage, seemingly playing around with a dagger. He twirls one in his hand a couple of times before putting it back, and then looking around at some of the other weapons and various other things. His hand brushes over some of the various supplies, his brow tense.

He makes his way to the Computer Room at some point, only to get bored quickly. After that, he's heading over to the Commander's Room to glare at the door for a moment. A shower in exchange for a favor... Ugh.

There's a moment where he explores the Furnace and the Winery, in that order. Clearly, he's not too interested with the things in these places. So, it's not long before he ends his exploration by heading over to the Library; he can be found sitting in a corner, knees drawn to his chest with the book sitting on them.

Maybe it'll be clear he's doing more staring through the book than actually reading it... ]

[ ... Tea, huh?

Akira watches as Yurick makes the tea, and it might be obvious he's outright staring at the cup for a while. Briefly, he gets lost in thought; only after he catches himself, he shakes his head and looks away. There's something tense in his expression in that moment. But, after forcing his expression into something calm and composed, he speaks up. ]

If I wasn't desperate, I'd probably be going for tea over this [ crap coffee tbh ] stuff.

Is that a good book?

[Barbara was originally going to read a book so she wouldn't think about yesterday, but then she saw this guy staring at a book in the corner. Realizing that she hadn't talked to him yet, she figured; why not talk to him now?]

Pinging the Commander!

[Well, Vita is definitely going to give and see what it would take to get a real shower here. She'll go to the Commander's Room to ask the Commander if she could make use of the shower. So she'll lightly knock first. After all, one should be polite when asking a favor.

After that, whether she gets a shower or not, she'll be going to the kitchen and mess hall to obtain some food. Except at first she's not eating, she's just looking at a piece of space food oddly, and pokes at it.]

Is this meant to be food, or another sort of weapon? Or maybe both.

[A short bit later she'll be seen trying to eat it with a fork and knife like a proper lady, and of course failing. Someone please explain space food to her.]

[Stars, people are talking to him again. Just his luck. But at least this one doesn't seem obnoxious or overbearing, so Yurick sighs and keeps his tone aloof rather than sarcastic.]

The tea isn't anything special, either. But that coffee is atrocious, so tea it is.

[He's not inviting the black-haired boy to sit down, but he's not chasing him away. So... a point for Akira?]

[Naoya rolls out of bed a little late in the day - why get up early? There's no point. He drags himself to the kitchen to find some coffee and some rations. They're not bad. He'll survive.

After that he wanders around, stopping first in the weapons storage to grab himself a dagger. He conceals it as best he can within his suit, tucking it behind the straps and fastening it. It won't be a quick draw, but it'll do. Then he checks out the furnace, careful not to get too close. ... Hm. That's something to think about.

Once that's done he checks the computer room, where he can be found for the rest of the day. Occasionally, the sounds of shitty flutes can be heard echoing from the room.]

[Passing the computer room with a distasteful look.... between this and the dial-up noises from his smartwatch, he is not a happy grandpa.]

What good are these machines if they all make such a pitiful racket?

[Nagisa saw Akira's struggles before heading to the kitchen himself, so...when he emerges, he has two plates. Military rations and space food may be lackluster, but they aren't necessarily awful if you can figure out what to do with them...and Nagisa has at least a little experience in space.

Freeze-dried scrambled eggs, toast (proper burning of bread achieved!), and...some kind of meat in gravy from a can of rations makes for an acceptable breakfast, and he offers one meal to Akira. Of note, there's also a small package of some sort of ration on the side of the plate.]

[He chuckles and turns to look at the other.]

It's not supposed to do that, really. It's what happens when I trip the security system in them. I'm trying to gather information, but... well. It's a little difficult when there's need of earplugs.

[ Early on into the day, C can be found in the Library gathering dot matrix printer paper and some pencils. In fact, he seems to be hard at working doing something, and when he's finished with that, just ends up drawing actual drawings. Most of them are of the same girl.

After that, he finally makes his way to get food in the mess hall and kitchen but he's staring at all of it like he doesn't know what he wants. Which he... doesn't. He may also be feeling guilty for that bread.

The rest of the day, he returns back to the library, back to his paper, though after earlier, he's now writing instead of drawing... ]

[As Vita passes by the computer room, she wrinkles her face at the hideous sound.]

What sort of terrible excuse for music is that noise?

[The lack of a suit definitely draws Vita's eye. It might just be a sheet, but compared to these suits, it's high fashion.]

Might I ask how you did that?

[So...yesterday was certainly...a day. Barbara doesn't know what to think of it, so for now she just won't think about it. After getting up at a somewhat reasonable time, she goes to the Kitchen and Mess Hall to make herself a good breakfast. Too bad she has no idea how space food works, so she's stuck eating some mediocre spaghetti with a glass of water. Better than nothing.

After that, she's heading to the Theater. So she'll watch a couple movies in there, just to see what she's missed. If you come at the right time, you might even get to see a death scene!

Later, she heads over to the Library, hoping to find a book that keeps her mind off things. She'll find one, and just read it for a while, sitting against the wall near the bookshelf she got the book from. If her intent stare means anything, it seems like a good read.]

[She has barely slept and can see colors.]

There's at least sheets in our rooms, you know. Just get me yours and [claps hands together] pow! Style!

[Vita ends up grabbing a glass of one of the fruity sodas. She's got one that is quite blue in color and she's trying to figure out how to open up one of the space food packets because she knows military rations are typically not good.

She figures it out, and it goes flying in Yurick's direction as she gets it open, it likely will fall on the ground nearby. Whoops. She'll come over quickly.]

I'm so sorry, I didn't know it would do that. It didn't hit you, I hope?

[Honestly, Rosenkreuz has no idea what to do in a place like this. None of these concepts for a room are familiar, except for the mostly timeless quality of the library - and as tempting as it would be to hole up in there away from all of the annoying noises and strange lights and machines, it seems awfully complacent. Instead, he's just going to go around investigating things to see what they are and how to use them. Just pick a thing to explain to him, he doesn't know any of this tbh.

Eventually, though, he'll go into the furnace room and discover its purpose. "Machine that burns things" is a pretty easy concept to understand, so he figures it out relatively quickly. And that's convenient, because there's an object he's had since day 1 that might start to smell if it's left alone for any longer.

So, run into Rosenkreuz carrying a severed arm toward the furnace. That's not suspicious at all.]

[Apparently someone was looking for something and has jumped for joy upon finding it! Just doing a little jig to themselves that taps all over this area of the weapon storage and - oh! Not being a very tall woman, she has only just now gotten a glimpse over all the shelves and caught sight of Akira. She waves~!!]
