[Soon after the failed attempt to contact the dead, the tell-tale alarm suddenly rings out, rattling everyone's teeth alongside Marie's voice.]

ATTENTION! EMERGENCY ALERT! PLEASE GO TO THE ELEVATORS IMMEDIATELY!! HMHMHMMM! I WILL NEVER GET TIRED OF SAYING THAT...!

[And so, once again, the elevators bring everyone back down to the trial room, where the table has been...altered, slightly, color-wise, to reflect those who are no longer among you. And once more, upon entering the force field, weapons disappear - and powers fail to work.

Bottson hops up onto the center of the table, transmitting the evidence found.]

[Above everyone once more is Marie, floating around in her hover platform.]

WELL, WELL! FANCY MEETING YOU ALL HERE AGAIN! I GUESS YOU ALL FAILED TO KEEP THAT GUY ALIVE, HUH?? AHAHAHA!!

Well. I've nothing to hide. I had no reason to kill him, especially for a motive as stupid as this, and I certainly wouldn't have killed someone in the only bath in this place that doesn't require one to jump through hoops. My power already makes me temporarily invulnerable, and Rosenkreuz was perhaps one of the most useful and smart people here. But go ahead and ask any questions of me you would.

I think we should start with the body. When I examined it, I found blood on his shoulder. A few drops, and it was the only place I located any blood. There were no wounds of any kind on Mister Rosenkreuz, I checked thoroughly. No cuts, nothing like that. It's likely this blood belonged to our perpetraitor. I think we might want to begin by examining that avenue.

There were some other things of interest--mainly, he appeared to have been holding several somethings, using his powers. I found a few arms fallen off nearby in the water. Whatever it was was decently sized, that's about all I can tell you.

I think we should start by asking how flexible you are, considering, if you'll take a look at my pictures, Mister Rosenkreuz was clearly kicked in the face.

I ran to the onsen alongside a lot of other people. I was in my room until then. [His roommate is also a suspect, though, so...probably not all that reliable for an alibi.]

Honestly, no. It could be almost anything. A scalpel was found nearby, but that's certainly too small. The other room was full of knives, it looks like? So maybe it could have been those?

[ He's looking at the evidence on the wristwatch as he says this. ]

[Jonathan's jaw drops at the sight of the suspect list, but he shuts his mouth quickly enough that his teeth click.

Let me guess: it's because the robe I found was red, isn't it.

[Bitter sarcasm with a look of absolutely murderous loathing aimed at their esteemed hostess, on the other hand... that, he can do. Better to fight than to just roll over and bare your throat, right?]

Not very, in the physical sense like that. Had we our powers, I could be flexible in another way--my appearance. But that's not the same as being able to kick someone the high up.

Knives? We didn't find any other several somethings. Otherwise it was one large thing.

There were several knives on the floor in the arcade; one of them was bloody. We might be looking for a knife wound.

I find it unlikely he was kicked from the floor over, it would've left a different kind of impact, would have shown some scraping or some signs of something, so it's highly probable our killer is incredibly flexible, or just tall enough to reach his face.

Mister Rosenkreuz was very tall.

The knives... maybe. There's different sizes, and some of them look like they could be it. He might have dropped them when he died.

We very well may be. Although I found it very odd the Onsen room had no signs of bleeding otherwise if that's the case, either the water washed away the blood or the wound was shallow enough that it barely dripped.

I know you didn't do this, Nagisa. Despite what you told me before, you wouldn't kill again without reason. At the very least, you're not tall enough to have delivered a kick to the victim's face.

Then I'm a poor suspect in this case.

Possibly. Where were you exactly when the murder happened?

There was only a little blood on the knife. A small wound would fit, right?

As Jonathan knows, it's not the first time. Also, I haven't had enough coffee, so I'm too tired for any sort of nerves.

[He isn't a morning person. Never mind that it's not morning.]

I have no reason to kill Rosenkreuz. The incentive provided is the opposite of what I want. I can't provide you a roommate alibi for obvious reasons but as people can attest to, in the mornings I always get coffee.

It may have nothing to do with height, if he was in the onsen and the killer was on the edge.
