[Even at school, Fie wasn't known for being particularly studious, particularly when it came to history. Probably the only reason why she managed to do as well as she had in class was because she had her older classmates help her focus and push her to learn the material. So even if Maglor's story isn't close to being as long as Instructor Thomas' lectures, he can probably notice her slowly begin to drift off through the tale, particularly because she starts yawning far more frequently the further he gets.

So when he pauses, she's just kind of sitting there looking ridiculously close to dozing off. Whoops...]
