WEEK 4
[A third of those of you who came here are now dead.
Its a sobering thought as everyone wakes up the next day to find their profiles updated once more, with Rosie and Naoya now added to the list of the discarded. There's an entire empty room, in terms of humans - Rocky, Murray, Elly, and a a strangely new and realistic robot bird are still there, somehow. Someone will need to take care of them now that their owners are gone.
Just like last week, no one has regained their memories, but their powers have evolved. Also like last week, a new floor has opened for those remaining to explore. It's...definitely different from the previous ones, to be sure. Emptier, more militaristic. And very, very large.
Maybe that's where the transport will arrive? Whatever the case, Marie's claim about the universe - if she's telling the truth - means there's less than two weeks left before the universe's destruction. If anyone has not yet thought of a way out that doesn't involve killing, the time to figure something out may be running out for everyone.
Meanwhile, even despite the lack of Naoya to hack the computers, the random computers belting out shittyfluting has, if anything, increased in their frequency. Which is definitely odd, since no one else has tried to hack into the computers...right?
There are ten strangers in this place.]

ROLEPLAYING THREAD

He all but pours himself out of the bunk with a groan and a stretch, then reaches back and grabs the blanket before settling it around his shoulders like a cloak, and squints at the computer screen for a few minutes. Well, he's got questions for Red anyway... like what the hell's a Parox, and where the laundry room they must have is hiding.
So he can be found first in the Mess Hall, trying to find a glass... or after that, at or on the way to the Winery, all the while wrapped in a blanket like a shoestring-budget King Lear.]

So for the time being, you'll find Barbara in all sorts of places. You might see her in the bar, preparing a glass of white wine as she rights down a five on a sheet of sketch paper from the art room.
Or maybe in the computer room, restacking the copy paper for another five points.
Then there's the library, where she can be found taking a couple books off of a shelf...just to put the back on the shelf. She's technically putting library books away, so she's counting it.
Next is the lab, where she's doing some dusting with a rag she got from the art room. Attempting, anyway. The place is already pretty clean.
Finally, she'll be standing in the kitchen, staring at the list, with one thing on her mind.]
What the heck is a Parox?
no subject
Well, it's worth the most points, but there's more than one of them, right? So maybe it's one of those huge upstairs things.
no subject
You mean the giant robot thingies? In Hangar...P, I think it is? How are we supposed to get to them, then?
no subject
Honestly, I've been thinking about that ever since I saw them. Getting to them, I mean, not how to polish them. They're so big, maybe they could bash open the walls or something...
no subject
Also, isn't it against the rules to break into any unopened rooms? It would be dangerous if we tried.
[She doesn't want either her or you to die, Angela.]
no subject
I guess I can't put it past this base to have rooms beyond the walls or whatever, you have a point.
no subject
[Not...entirely sure, but she thinks Angela isn't from a time with giant battle robots. maybe]
MINIGAME RESULTS
OH MY GOD!! NO ONE DIDβOH!!
SOMEONE DID DO SOMETHING! THE REST OF YOU, WOW!! CLEANING A ROBOT IS NOT HARD, GEEZ!!!
[There is the sound of a whirring drill, followed by a high-pitched mechanical whine.]
OH WELL!! GUESS YOU OTHERS WILL JUST HAVE TO LIVE WITH NOT KNOWING ANYTHING BECAUSE YOU DIDNβT DO MYβI MEAN WHAT YOU WERE TOLD AND CLEANED!! SPEAKING OF CLEANING...!
[The sound of a drill hitting metal, and the mechanical whine becomes a mechanical screech.]
HEHEHEH!! AHAHAHA!! THIS IS FUN!!!
TO THE WINNER, I WILL BE AT YOUR DOOR IN A HALF HOUR!! UNTIL THEN!!!
[And with that, the announcement ends.
A half-hour later, someone is knocking on Barbaraβs door.]
no subject
Anyway, Barbara will open up the door about ten seconds after the knock.]
Hello?

no subject
[She doesn't know how 'ready' you can be to see a possibly comatose, possibly pregnant woman who managed to build a robot, but being in her waitress outfit is probably enough.]
no subject
[And so Marie leads Barbara to the elevators. One they are both in, Marie takes out a blue card, sliding it onto the glass.
A whole panel of floors lights up, and Marie presses what can only be for the top level.]
no subject
Actually, wait a second.]
Am...I allowed to tell the others about her? How this woman is doing and everything?
no subject
[Barbare will notice that, between all the floors she would be currently aware of and the top level, there is at least one other floor.
With seconds they are in...well, the best way to describe it is a throne room with a large control panel lining the wall. The throne itself is in the center, with the elevator behind it. There is also something on the throne, carefully leaned against the cold metal construct.
Above is a see-through dome, where Barbara can see the stars.]
HERE WE ARE!
no subject
[Two new notes: One more floor to see, and she needs to wash her mouth with soap later.
And...okay, weird throne room. Not actually too surprising to see this woman make a throne room for herself.]
Okay...so she's somewhere in this room, then?
[She won't move, but she'll try to identify what that thing is that's leaning against the throne.]
no subject
AHAHAHA!!
OH NO, SHE ISNβT IN THE BASE!! THE TRUTH IS WAY MORE FUN THAN THAT!!
no subject
Y-you...what do you mean by th-that?
[She has an idea, but she really doesn't want to believe that.]
