THE THIRD TRIAL
[As soon as the final pieces of evidence are collected, Bottson just looks at everyone through his sunglasses and huffs, before rolling off.
Several moments later, the alarm sounds.]
ATTENTION! IT'S THAT TIME AGAIN!! EVERYONE COME TO THE ELEVATORS IMMEDIATELY FOR THE TRIAL!! AHAHAHAHA!!
[Once everyone comes down to the trial room, once more powers and weapons disappear when they enter the force field. The table has been updated to reflect those who are now, unfortunately, gone.
Bottson, meanwhile, hops up on the table, looking completely disinterested in what's happening, even as he processes and uploads the evidence given. The suspect list appears on everyone's wrist communicators.]

[From the ceiling, outside of the force field, is Marie, looking very pleased with herself.]
THERE!! THAT STUPID ROBOT IS FINALLY WORTH SOMETHING! I'M SUCH A GENIUS TO FIX HIS PERSONALITY CORE AND PROGRAMMING, HMM?? AHAHAHAHA!!
OK, NOW GET GOING! SOMEONE AMONG YOU IS TOTALLY A KILLER AND NEEDS TO BE PUNISHED!!

MODS
[ Okay, you know what? Let's check the body pictures again. What did his back look like, exactly? Was it more circular? Or smaller and shaped weirdly? ]
Why don't we compare the photos?
Re: MODS

No, this is definitely consistent with a gun wound. There's no indication on him anywhere that the cannonball was ever used.
Perhaps it was the object used to kill him? In that case, why a cannonball? Why not just... use the gun?

mod ping (again)
[ Give him a sec, he wants to check the photos again and look at the size of the wound on Passe's head. Is it small, large, consistent with a potential cannonball at all? ]

... Actually, looking at the wound on his head, it's very possible a cannonball did kill him. It's big enough in size.

[Yurick rests his chin on his knuckles, thinking.]
And the killer or the saboteur would have to get the note back from the victim, yes? Which they couldn’t do unless Passepartout was dead or incapacitated.
