[Well, your time, your anger, your losses have led up to this.

It's time to go, and that blue card will give access to the floors above. In particular, there is the floor Barbara mentioned before the throne room, which seems to be a good idea to check out beforehand.

Indeed, it's much like the previous floors the Strangers had lived in, only smaller.]



[There is another elevator in the area, but that is inaccessible. Even using Marie's card doesn't seem to work on it. Hm. No matter. Marie's card works on all of these rooms, so it's fine, right?

In any case, if there's answers to be found about just whose in charge - and what in the world is going on - this is the last chance of finding them. You've all gotten this far, and as your teams descend on the rooms, you can feel the end is near. Hopefully, that end is not that of the universe - or of Ivy.

[There are two stacks of papers in particular that seem Important.

So, whichever one Barbara wants to look at first is up to her - the more complicated on, or the less complicated one?]

So, what's the more complicated one look like?]

[It's a compilation of information on something called Project Diatron. A lot of it seems to be carefully written so that a layperson could eventually understand some of the very high-end concepts coming from this.

Project Diatron, in essence, involved nanometric resizing of volunteers - aka, shrinking - to allow for literal manual microsurgery of complicated diseases and problems that might affect someone physically that can't otherwise be cured traditionally. The volunteers thus become micronauts.

The doctor in charge of this project has found added benefits to also using mitochondrial conversion - aka, transforming the micronauts into human-antibody hybrids for the body they're going to be implanted into - which allows for the micronauts to adapt and survive much longer than just not converting them. The process is reversible, thankfully, but there has been a noted side effect of the procedure while hybridization is ongoing - unexpected and spontaneous immunological mutations in the micronauts during implantation and surgery.

In other words, the micronauts have been noted to gain abilities similar to those of known micro-organisms, even including viruses and fungi.]

[A group known as The Orders. A militia in the Neutral Zone split into two factions: the Order of the Sherry and the Order of the Crackle. They base their teachings on two mythical individuals who met and even more mythical figure the Orders revere - the Beyonder.

The document points out that the group have experience in guerrilla tactics, along with incredible technological and fighting skills that have grown over the centuries. The writer of this document has made overtaking these groups a priority.]
