LET THE GAME BEGIN
(SYD -> HNL)
[Well, good going, Yurick and Vita. You dun fucked up. Now it's a murdergame. Still, could be worse. It could be a certain screechy female commander in charge, right?
In any case, you are stuck here. It's frustrating, and as time goes by, being here is going to wear everyone down. Not to mention the scent of those damn leis just won't go away, even after you've tossed them aside. The air permeates with it, and combine that with recycled air that only makes things more irritating and pungent, the limited supply of essentials, the limited space even on this large plane, the horrible electricity situation, *and* the threat of the murdergame now ever-present over everyone's heads?
Things are not fun right now. And as time goes by, it's going to only get worse. It's just a question of how - and whether there's any escape before it becomes too much to bear.]
((OOC: Welcome to the week! We'll be doing things a little differently here - we will have a sub-heading for investigations to happen, where players can send their characters of to find clues. Just head over there and use the OoC map to help guide your characters to major clues if you so wish!
Of course, you can always court disaster for your character, courtesy of the RNG, if you so wish! As a result, there will also be a sub-heading revealing everyone's level of injury, which will start at a default number for everyone (except those already injured coming in, or injuries inflicted before the pilot's call!) at the beginning of the week! This can be raised as you see fit to inflict pain on your character - just remember to TAG ANY COMMENT THREAD FOR THE MODS if you want injury rolls! Just don't go too high - your character may not survive if you do!
GOOD LUCK! And remember - have a nice flight!))
Meeting!
As some of you may have heard there are three of us here who have been in a situation like this before. We woke up in a strange military base with fourteen other strangers. Any powers we previously had were no longer usable and replaced with another power we previously didn't have and has limited use at best. Some of you may have found that some here are from places where airplanes don't even exist, or you may be one of those who had never seen a place like this before. One thing our group realized is that we were all from very different places and times. Some from completely different worlds, some from earlier or later times within the same world. But if our captors found a way to bring us here there has to be a way to send us back home.
Our captor was a very loud and annoying woman by the name of Marie who had a very sick sense of humor. She was actually supposed to execute us all and thought it would be entertaining to have us kill each other instead. I suspect that is the "surprise" the pilot spoke of. Why there would be a need to kill us all is something I'm not sure of yet and could well be a memory taken from us.
When we failed to do as she asked, she then provided an incentive to tempt us. The incentive proved too hard to resist and soon after someone was dead. The culprit was found and executed. That pattern repeated until six of our group were dead and we found a way out. Every one of the culprits were found and executed, including our captor who was the last one.
The main things I want to be sure everyone understands is that this place isn't safe and no one should go anywhere alone. Stay in groups, the larger the better. The Base was nothing like the condition this place was in. Even walking around here could result in injury. Also, never meet someone alone here. If we're careful, we can get out of this alive and hopefully with few injuries too.
We should also meet on a regular basis to share anything we found. For now, if you found anything, please share your findings. If anyone has any questions about what I shared of our past experiences, I'll do what I can to answer them.

How long were you kept inside? I doubt that this can stay in the air over a day without landing, unless it's using space technology, and I haven't seen a sign of that.

We can't rule out something like that or the pilot having some plan in place to keep us here while refueling.

Wait, what do you mean taken memories? Like some kind of forced amnesia?

[ He rubs his chin. ]
Were those the only memories that were apparently taken? I mean, I'm pretty sure I don't have any gaps, but... if they did that, what's to say that they didn't do more?

My, my. I had no idea enclosing people in small spaces and asking them to murder each other was such a common past-time, although I suppose in an infinite universe, everything is common from a certain point of view.
I haven't found anything directly, other than the fact that your statement about "powers" is at least partly correct. I can still summon demons, but instead of my usual cadre, I got this little guy. Say hello, Vinea.
[The imp (Scamp?) waves.]

You'll notice I don't call him the Pilot, and that's because I think it's important to note he isn't the original Pilot. Even without uncritically accepting his testimony, some things don't add up if we attribute everything to him. Kokoro-chan, you remember him calling you glowstick, right? But he called you Component, Link. What's his incentive to do that? Why not just make up nicknames he liked from the beginning? No, we definitely have to worry about whoever "booked" our flight. Let's call them the Travel Agency for lack of a better term.
So, the Captain just walked up into the cockpit [he makes a fingergun gesture over his shoulder in that direction] it's this way for those of you who don't know, it's like the wheel of a ship - he "hijacked" the plane and is making darn sure he won't be disturbed anymore. Furthermore, he learned our powers from some preexisting document I'll call a dossier. He had to read something instead of using extrasensory perception, because fairness is important, and he already has one power...
[He triumphantly holds up his right hand with a little electrical burn wound on the side.]
Electricity generation! As I found out the hard way knocking on his door. You're welcome, everybody.
Anyway, if you're that concerned about our flight path - I can't blame you if you're not used to flying - our priority should obviously be to re-hijack the plane. There's fifteen of us - sixteen if you count Scamp - and only one Captain, who also managed to singlehandedly stop any Travel Agency from bothering him, so I know we can pull something off. That's all I've got for now, so please let me hear your ideas!

Another idea I'd suggest is finding a means to regain powers for those of us who had them. We have two witches here who don't normally use modes of transportation like this. If no one can fly the plane, then that's another way out.

[Jonathan winces visibly at that, realizing that his brilliant plan to short out the door that he got zapped by may just have caught the plane on fire if they'd pulled it off.]

Trying to take control of the plane makes the most sense. We should also be on the lookout for microphones and cameras and disable them. Earlier, when the hijacker made the first announcement, he pointed out my standing in shock... so, not only can he hear us, but he can see us, as well.
The less that he knows about what we're doing, the better.

[ Satania doesn't always have the best attention span, but she still does her best to listen to what Vita has to say. And as soon as Vita's done talking... ]
...People were killed?!
[ Satania is shocked enough that she can't even bother with her usual 'evil' image.
And people killing each other?! That's scary! ]
Uwah... But we won't kill each other, right?!

Heh... You guys- never told me what happened to Akira. I'm assuming he lived, since you weren't surprised to see me?
[ In spite of the discomfort, he's giving her a steady look. ]
How did you guys get out?
no subject
Everyone who was murdered or executed was restored. There was some sort of river that could heal even fatal injuries. We escaped after we managed to execute the mastermind for committing a murder and attempting to lay blame on Jonathan.
