[Well, good going, Yurick and Vita. You dun fucked up. Now it's a murdergame. Still, could be worse. It could be a certain screechy female commander in charge, right?

In any case, you are stuck here. It's frustrating, and as time goes by, being here is going to wear everyone down. Not to mention the scent of those damn leis just won't go away, even after you've tossed them aside. The air permeates with it, and combine that with recycled air that only makes things more irritating and pungent, the limited supply of essentials, the limited space even on this large plane, the horrible electricity situation, *and* the threat of the murdergame now ever-present over everyone's heads?

Things are not fun right now. And as time goes by, it's going to only get worse. It's just a question of how - and whether there's any escape before it becomes too much to bear.]


((OOC: Welcome to the week! We'll be doing things a little differently here - we will have a sub-heading for investigations to happen, where players can send their characters of to find clues. Just head over there and use the OoC map to help guide your characters to major clues if you so wish!

Of course, you can always court disaster for your character, courtesy of the RNG, if you so wish! As a result, there will also be a sub-heading revealing everyone's level of injury, which will start at a default number for everyone (except those already injured coming in, or injuries inflicted before the pilot's call!) at the beginning of the week! This can be raised as you see fit to inflict pain on your character - just remember to TAG ANY COMMENT THREAD FOR THE MODS if you want injury rolls! Just don't go too high - your character may not survive if you do!

[Then, after a pause.] Actually, there was one thing.... It disappeared, though.

What, like the way the three victims appeared? Did you see it happen or just turn around and it was gone?

[Please don't get his hopes up and turn out to easily misplace objects, Ace]

I saw it.

I found Kedamono stuck in a large pile of corpses and snakes earlier and pulled him out, and in the process we dislodged some kind of bag. We ran away and found Yurick injured. ...I'm not much help in medical emergencies.

[Thumbs would help.]

But I picked up the bag, thinking I should put it somewhere for safekeeping, and it vanished from my jaws. Something else appeared at about the same time, but...

Oh. Okay. So. You're some kind of search and rescue dog???

[Since he's so good at retrieving things but also understands this completely different area of expertise, "medical emergencies", enough to give an educated comment on it. Hiyori is pretty disoriented honestly.]

Something else like what. Did you have to leave that there too?

No, not really. I'm not even a Wise Dog.

[Just. Roll with it? The dog talks, the dog deserves walks.]

I couldn't pick it up. I can take you to where I left it, though.

[ Zelos waves from the back, putting another chip in his mouth as he walks over closer to Ace. ]

[werewoofing]

[The dog nods.]

I pushed it under a seat, it should still be there.

[He'll lead the way to where he and Kedamono had found Yurick. Under one of the seats there's a thing. It's. It's a puzzle, and an incredibly easy one...if you have thumbs. Ace is a dog. Ace does not have thumbs.]

I know what's supposed to be done with it, but it wasn't the time earlier.

[pimpplan]

[ He follows Ace down to where he hid the puzzle. He reaches under the seat, grabbing the toy and pulling it out from under. ]

Huh. What do ya know...

[ Opting to solve it now rather than drag the whole thing back to where the group is, Zelos starts messing with the puzzle, moving the pegs around in the puzzle. ]

[werewoofing]

[It was made by Ace's power, so...yeah it's easy as hell. Once all the pegs are out of the base, it vanishes and is replaced by the purse!]

That's the purse Kedamono found earlier. [Ace is gonna sniff it first of all.]

[pimpplan]

... Huh. That was actually pretty impressive.

[ Ace gets at least one ear scratch for that. Good boy.

Zelos fiddles with the clasp, popping the purse open and looks in to find the contents of the purse.]

[There is a vial and a note.]

[werewoofing]

[I CAN'T READ.

So let's sniff at that vial, can doggy noses smell anything?]

[For Ace, it smells like some particularly strong snake venom, even from the outside.]

[werewoofing]

[Yuck!]

I don't think we want to mess with this.

[pimpplan]

[ He looks up from the note. ]

Why, what's wrong with it?

[werewoofing]

It smells like the snakes. Strongly. Specifically like their breath.

[He knows they're dangerous now. Very dangerous.]

[pimpplan]

... Better not open that up, then.

[ He slips it back into the purse... just in case. ]

It sounds like it was meant for somebody, judging by the letter.

[ He reads it out loud so Ace knows what it says, and shows him the picture. ]

You seen this guy on the plane?

[werewoofing]

Do you think the Captain could be the person who was supposed to use it? Or who was supposed to take it?

I don't think I've seen him...but there are a lot of bodies on this plane.

[pimpplan]

[ Dogs can't read. Zelos can. So, he holds out the vial for Ace, and reads the note. ]

[Update: your target has fled to our Hong Kong safe houses. He currently assumes we will offer him sanctuary. However, his actions have become untenable to our interests and long-term future plans. The committee has declared his retirement as a necessary action, and so I turn to you.

Track him and deal with him in whatever way you feel is best. At the request of the committee I have enclosed a suggested method of theirs for your consideration - our contacts have made all the arrangements to ensure you pass through customs without incident.

Retire the target. Failure is not an option.

[ That doesn't sound good...

Gently, he pulls the picture off the note and flips it over to see if there's anything on the back. ]

[Nothing on the back. Looks like you've seen what's on the note in its entirety.]
