No doubt, most of you are sleeping. Perhaps you are dreaming. Whether they are dreams or nightmares are irrelevant. Hopefully, none of you are heavy sleepers. Especially not when there is a very loud BANG that suddenly permeates through the ceiling right above the bedrooms.. The force of the impact is such the rooms actually shake, sending dust onto those in their bed.

If that didn't wake someone up, then the sudden scream coming from upstairs at roughly the same time will do it, right?

In other words. Good morning, Strangers. Something is happening upstairs.

[ Alright, she's going to try to pry the bucket out. ]

[As she does, she will be able to feel the clay that's scattered all over the floor around it.]

[ She... takes a bit of clay, then spends a few seconds fiddling with it in her fingers. She even brings it up to smell it a little.

[It's heavy and thick, akin to slag.]

[ Alright, thanks. Anything around the bucket that's also of note, or should she start looking in it? ]

[Nope. Otherwise, when she looks in the bucket, there's just some more clay.]

[Not on the floor, but she might notice something with the door to the library as she looks around.]

Actually there's something stringy-looking tied around the doorknob that's facing inward towards the library.]

Also, touching it will allow her to notice that said wire is not just around the door-the rest of the wire goes upwards and away from the door.]

All of the bookcases are chained together, using the chains that hold the books on the shelves themselves.]

[Well, that's not good. He'll see if he can go ahead and unchain them first. Is that doable?]

[Okay, so he'll try and keep Ambrosine away for the moment while he fiddles with the chains and tries to get them apart. He'll start with the one closest to the wall and then work his way in.]

[All right then. Whenever he finishes it, which may or may not take awhile, what would Thanatos like to do next?]

[How long it takes likely depends on how tangled up the chains were. But once the shelves are up and stable he'll start looking around. That and he'll go ahead and motion to Ambrosine that it's safe to come over.]

It should be safe to look around now.

[But soon after he sees Arthur fall and goes running over to the boy.]
