[How is everyone, this morning?

No doubt, most of you are sleeping. Perhaps you are dreaming. Whether they are dreams or nightmares are irrelevant. Hopefully, none of you are heavy sleepers. Especially not when there is a very loud BANG that suddenly permeates through the ceiling right above the bedrooms.. The force of the impact is such the rooms actually shake, sending dust onto those in their bed.

If that didn't wake someone up, then the sudden scream coming from upstairs at roughly the same time will do it, right?

In other words. Good morning, Strangers. Something is happening upstairs.

[The very first thing she will notice is what remains of that smashed piano.

...which now is missing all of its wires.]

[Nope. No sign of them in the vicinity at all.]

[Krone peers more deeply inside and underneath the piano... Is there any residue or whatever]

[Huh. Okay, well, deeper into the passage she goes then. Are there more striking objects.]

[She will, as she begins to ascend, find a bucket.]

[Oh god please don't be blood.]

[Nope. Just a doused torch.]

[She picks it up, squinting, puts her other hand near it... Still remotely warm? Otherwise suspicious stirring in the water, anything to suggest recency or lack thereof?]

[It’s slightly still warm, but otherwise nothing else.]

[Huh... Real mad dash must have just tragically happened. She's going to preserve this evidence item in an inventory slot then.

Well, final stretch. On into the library she goes.]

[As she gets to the window, she will find something rather out of place: a set of bow and arrows on the sill.]
