She wanted to kill them. The Daedric Princes. Just fusing us with those artifacts of theirs wasn't enough to hurt them, although killing us must have finished it off somehow. I think it was part of how she wanted to unmake reality. And her reason for that... is too full of bullshit to bother with, honestly.
