There's the growing pain in her gut, which feels like it's spreading through her body, and then there's the new pain in her neck. The end is coming, she knows it.

But what hurts almost as much is the crushing feeling of failure. She was so close. She could have solved everything... but then in one moment, everything fell apart. Was she just fooling herself all along? Was this always going to happen?
