Oh please, you didn't see how happy he was when Atsushi went home with Yurick and actually affected our timeline. I know it is possible, but I know it's just as possible to create another timeline by doing so and what we experienced is likely unique.

I get that, and it's very hard to manipulate time like that. What I can tell you is it happened due to the events on the plane. I mentioned about the woman who called all of us at the end right? Well, Atsushi had grown fond of my brother in law, Yurick, and asked to be sent home with him. Yurick was taken from a time before Jonathan and I, but after we'd met at the base and got out.

The one called Rachel accomplished putting Yurick and Atsushi back into our timeline instead of creating a divergent one like what would normally occur with something being added. However, she is likely responsible for Hiyori and Link being the way they are now. Jonathan and I may well be here now because we refused her offer.

If you're going to do something with this, please be careful. Manipulating time is very difficult, and I'm an incredibly skilled witch. If it works, your memories will be altered and you may change to account for it. For us, this was a few months, for you it sounds like a matter of years, if not decades.

I can't answer that since my own died before I was even old enough to remember them. I'm just saying to be careful. If they are kind and loving parents like Jonathan's, they'd not want you to get hurt for their sake. I don't disapprove, I just ask that you do your utmost to not trade one bad ending for another.

It's better to hope for the best and prepare back up plans as needed. Have some confidence in yourself and your skills and you'll get far better results. Maybe you'll even reach the level of not being a fuckup at all.

Confidence is not my strong suit, but I do believe in the power of 'multiple fuckups can do a good thing'. That seems to be the guiding creed of the Nein at times.

It's mine, but that would be expected of a performer like myself. Still, I prefer to make my plans with a lofty goal and then account for all possible things that could go wrong and how to handle them. In the last trial I broke so much because it was falling outside of my expected plans and let my fear of dying overcome me. If I have a good plan, I can't fear the unknown if I've considered it and come up with a way to handle it.
