Right? It's only the one pair, though....and if it doesn't work like that there's the usual teevee consequence. ...I also discovered a thing I can do, but I think I need someone with strong resonance, and I dunno if it's the same as the Scanning Kurama was doing.

[Arthur may be having trouble staying off the beat of the ticking.....but he's aware of it and fighting with all he's got.]

[ So far he has been pretty good about avoiding the things with the red fog, so a tiny bit of consequences wouldn't hurt any. Probably. ]

Sure am. We can see if we have strong resonance, and maybe it might help that I can scan like Kurama, too.

First step's if you can even pick me up when I'm glasses, then. Just, fair warning, sometimes when someone I resonate well with puts me on, a vision just suddenly happens.

[So. Brace yourself, just in case, basically. He's not sure what the red fog will do to him, after the punishment, and there are warring parts inside him now - part that wants to embrace it, and part that wants to run screaming. But he figures, if he's stubborn? If he clings to hope like Visil clung to life? If he stubbornly refuses to believe there could ever possibly not be a tomorrow?

Got it. Consider me properly warned.

[ He was feeling a bit down earlier due to certain things but it didn't mean his spirit to fight was dampened any. What he had in droves was this undeniable will to fight and a confidence that still burned like a fire deep within him. Hopefully that would help when it came to their resonance. ]

[And in a flash of light, he's glasses. Please pick him up (or fail to) before the goose arrives.]

[ Chuckling a little, he nodded and made to try and pick up Arthur. Completely ready for the possibility that he might not be able to, but when he lifted him off the ground it was almost surprising. ]

Huh. Would you look at that.

[ In the distance there's a faint honk that can be heard.

Either way he does move to put the glasses on, and after a moment? Arthur will very distinctly be able to see this play out before him. It thankfully won't be too jarring as he comes back from it, however. ]

[Yeah, that's a pretty peaceful one, if very confusing. Pigtails?]

[ That was not what he was expecting; no wonder it could get really intense for Arthur when he had them with how abruptly it was. He let off a soft hum in assent. ]

Out of context, yeah. It is. Though I can clear a couple things with you at least.

[ Taking a couple steps forwards, he started out from the Cafe since there were some risky things they had to do still. Talking could happen while they walked. ]

The one they called pigtails was a girl named Kaname Madoka. There's more to it, but that's what I can give you without it getting all technical and long-winded. [ Since there was a LOT to it, and way too much to explain for him, especially since he didn't remember most of it all. ] I got that memory from her while I was at Cafe MYJL, during my last week at the Mall.

As for the... one she spoke of? Having the power to cross universes? That's Sho.

It was pretty pleasant, as these things go. So they were talking about Shoe, huh...

[Sho Minamimoto gets no respect. Sho Minamimoto deserves no respect.]

So that was nothing new...and probably not too helpful for the current situation?

[ Karma sighed, seeming a bit sheepish in a way. Even if Arthur couldn't see him while in this state. ]

Not really. Besides mentioning the starting point where Sho was able to gain that power to cross universes and who was aware of it... and as for Madoka? She was someone who had made a contract with Kyuubey in her universe and became a magical girl.

[ He wasn't sure if Arthur knew that or not but he's saying it anyway. ]

So. Did you want me to head up to the holding cells, then?

So the Incubators tie in there pretty heavily...

[There's so Much behind all of this, he's doing his best to keep track of everything. And he holds information. His visions give him more than he can easily communicate.]

Yeah. [Karma can probably feel his reluctance through their resonance. He very viscerally DOES NOT WANT TO GO THERE, but also he's stubborn and he doesn't know how else they can get information on the thing in the tube.] We'll take a look at the whatever-it-is two ways.

Yup. Seems we really can't get away from them, can we?

[ God. The day Kyuubeys stopped existing, he would be entirely too happy. Though there's something else to focus on here that's more important. Especially with that definitive reluctance he can feel on Arthur's end, even as he starts to head up there with quick steps. ]

Alright. Sounds like a plan. Is there a trick to make that happen or something?

Yeah. Something about them really bugs me... Like, other than all the obvious stuff about them.

[If they could stop being a thing, that would be nice. Arthur isn't entirely sure what kind of positive goal they could have that could make working with IT make sense, but....gotta be something.]

The first's just using my power, I dunno if we'll get past or future - and sometimes I don't even get stuff that feels like it's part of time. The other.... It happened for the first time, when we were fighting for King. These like...golden lines and numbers and stuff, I dunno how to describe it - that we've gotta really focus on resonating for!

Same here. I was so much better off before I knew of their existences.

[ As he headed up to the first floor, there was something of a grin on his face as he moved and was accompanied by a small chuckle. He wasn't wasting a single time and this whole thing kinda was exciting in a way. Especially if they got something useful out of this. ]

Got it. Is there any tips on how to focus on better resonance between us or something, then? I'm not too sure how this whole being a weapon thing works with this yet. Other than that you need good resonance to even pick you guys up.

Well, you can feel the resonance, right? Just focus in on that. The more in sync we are, the better. You know, like how if someone manages to sing loud enough at the right pitch, they can shatter a glass with just their voice? I could probably explain better if I were more of a physics guy, but it's actually pretty intuitive!

[Or if he had TWEWY pact vocabulary or something, it's not terribly dissimilar.]

[ The more he thinks about it, there is similarities to pacts that happened back in the mall. So thankfully it makes it all easier to understand. ]

I can work with that. Soon as we get there, you choose what you want us to do first. Whether it's the whole vision thing or if you'd just wanna do that second stuff with added resonance and all.

[ Sure enough, as he said that, they arrived at the second floor and he stepped out, he headed right towards the holding cells. Stopping right in the doorway before heading in. ]

So. What's the plan?

Probably best to try out the new thing first....we might wanna go running out of here as soon as we see a vision, depending what it is.

[Arthur's anxiety spikes as they get closer to the....the torture chamber. Room. It's just a room. A room used as a torture chamber. That he was tortured in-- stop thinking about that! There's work to be done!]

[ He exhaled a soft breath, and the first thing Arthur should be able to feel, just in terms of the current resonance they DO have? Karma's rather calm in comparison and he's doing whatever he can so Arthur can feel it and maybe feel a bit calmer in turn.

Moving to stand just a few feet away from the tubes, he closed his eyes and focused on the resonance he could feel between the two of them. Focusing on it, trying to see if their wavelengths would be able to become even more in sync. ]

Heh. Just hope i'm doing this right.

[Karma's calm does help balance Arthur's panic. So he reaches for their resonance, trying to repeat what he and Caleb managed at the riot - what can they see with the golden display?

Once they've given that a fair try, it's time to see what time says about their friend in the tube. Focus on the thing with the red eyes, the only occupant of any of the tubes... What do his Approach eyes see?]

[What can be seen through the display is something inside the tube.

To be more precise, it appears to be a Taboo Noise. But as soon as the information is given, Arthur will feel that familiar sensation-]

[He finds himself somewhere, lying flat on his back barely able to move. What greets him is nothing but complete darkness and the 'tick-tick-tick' of that annoyingly familiar sound. For Arthur...he will remember how it feels. For this is one of those accursed tubes after all.

But the person is quiet. Makes no sudden moves as the tube opens for them, as if adjusting to its surroundings. Their knuckles crack as their arms stretch out, to feel this new sensation, this...freedom. Slowly it moves from the tube but stumbles to the floor, not used to their legs. After all, it had just been born. The figure groans and mutters quietly-]

The world is garbage...I wish I can make art...

[Did it sound...sad? It is hard to figure out more because that is where the vision ends.]

[ The fact that this display allowed even him to see that in the tube specifically was a taboo Noise was something all on it's own, but... what he's concerned with is the way Arthur went quiet. That was a bit concerning. ]

...Hey, Arthur. You alright?

[Being in the tube again, vision or not - he can't breathe. Never mind that glasses don't have lungs. It was bad enough the first time, but the punishment did his claustrophobia no favors and

Karma's voice.]

Can we get out of here? Out of this room?

[They can discuss what they saw elsewhere.]

[ With them as closely resonating like this, it's hard not to pick up on how small and afraid he'd sounded just then. Which is why he just turned on his heel and headed out without another word, not stopping until they'd almost reached the elevator. ]

...Right. Sorry. Do you need me to take these off yet?

[ Meaning Arthur in his weapon form; the glasses, primarily. Something he indicated with a small tap to the side of them lightly. ]

[Seems like Arthur won't be able to stay in that room for longer than several seconds. Not without more recovery.

Once they're out he's still on edge, still struggling not to panic.]

I-I need to breathe. [So, yes. Off, please. Even if only temporarily.]
