WEEK 1
[So, once Zero has said his peace, everything is quiet as the week dawns. A new Game. Nonary, Decision, Murder. All three. It doesn't matter. Everyone is here to kill or die. The coin has been tossed, the die is cast. The rules are set; the watches are active.
The question now is, why? Why is this happening? Why you? Surely no one is so desperate to kill on this ship, right? Not when the people onboard are so interesting and varied. Perhaps everyone can get along; perhaps there's a way off the ship without bloodshed. Of course, if there is, it might be be best to be prepared for a long stay-there's no doubt Zero won't make it that easy to escape. Then there's the matter that-apparently-people have new powers they did not possess before, while those the strangers once had are gone. Perhaps it's time to test those out and see what they can do
So, let's see what happens this week. Hopefully it will be a peaceful one.
There are currently 19 strangers on this ship.]

It should be few enough that I can hold them all. I'm not taking them to watch, you see.

If you do not mind me asking, just what were you intending to do with them?
[ As he'd just found out they were for viewing the other day, and if they had another purpose he wasn't made aware of them. ]

[She places her hand on her chest to indicate herself, her coat sleeve bagging up a lot over the uneven DVDs.]
I don't know if you've heard yet, but they're calling me the Familiar, with the ability to manipulate objects or a sword. It's very different from the abilities I had before, and understanding how this occurred may be the key to our escape. My name is Makima, as it so happens.

[ Why yes he will take that as the truth, as she didn't seem like the lying type when it came to this situation.
He exhaled a soft hum as he listened, remembering what they had said about him but there hadn't seemed to really be anything that entirely stood out to him yet. Though Roland is entirely too happy to push that aside in favor of something much more favorable. ]
Understanding what it is we can do certainly cannot hurt at least. That is indeed true.
[ His expression brightens and he offers a polite, but undoubtedly kind smile. ]
It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Makima. My name is Roland and the title they've bestowed upon me is quite ominous, as it is The Eye.

The Eye... Would that be a power allowing you a special type of sight? I wouldn't mind if you accompanied me to the open area where I'll conduct my target practice. [She shifts her weight on her feet a bit - she's holding all this stuff and if she really were to stay in the rec room to chat, she might have to sit back down.] I wonder if there's actually an invisible being helping me manipulate the objects. One of my coworkers had the use of a ghost hand due to her contract with the Ghost Devil.

You would be correct. I'm afraid I don't know it's limits or the extent of what it can do, but I believe i've already experienced one occurrence of it in action.
[ That incident in the Laundry Room the other day sure had been something. Something he chooses not to think about and moves to step aside with an arm held out for her. ]
I am most grateful. Please do lead the way. [ Roland cast a gaze around her briefly, then shook his head as he offered a small chuckle. ] Though if there is something there helping you, it's not something even I can see. Your world and the concept of actual devils existing does sound fascinating, however.
