WEEK 1


[So, once Zero has said his peace, everything is quiet as the week dawns. A new Game. Nonary, Decision, Murder. All three. It doesn't matter. Everyone is here to kill or die. The coin has been tossed, the die is cast. The rules are set; the watches are active.

The question now is, why? Why is this happening? Why you? Surely no one is so desperate to kill on this ship, right? Not when the people onboard are so interesting and varied. Perhaps everyone can get along; perhaps there's a way off the ship without bloodshed. Of course, if there is, it might be be best to be prepared for a long stay-there's no doubt Zero won't make it that easy to escape. Then there's the matter that-apparently-people have new powers they did not possess before, while those the strangers once had are gone. Perhaps it's time to test those out and see what they can do if you're not Kira.

So, let's see what happens this week. Hopefully it will be a peaceful one.

[ Aoi spins his scalpel between his fingers. ]

Isn't it obvious?

[His own weapon is a small dagger- a hidden weapon, something you would hide in a sleeve. He stabs again, in the leg. His own leg shudders a bit, but it's in the meat, so nothing he can't handle

I did that for awhile. But I figured it'd be more pertinent to start searching out others.

Are you really going to just stand here doing this?

[pegasinister]

I'm not particularly interested in the prize- but it would be an insult to my profession to let anyone else strike me. So yes, I will be staying here.

[He could be lying though. He spins the blade over his knuckles before again sinking the weapon into a flank.

Stab: 3]

[jinglebros]

So you're not going to let me stab it out of courtesy, huh?

I'd let you stab mine.

[pegasinister]

How classicly romantic. But sadly that would break us even, so I will have to turn it down.

[Stab: 4... but this time he does pause to catch his breath. There are a few beads of sweat on his brow. His tolerance is high, but he's still human]

[jinglebros]

[ Aoi looks at him. ]

Look. I'll guard your doll from stabs. Go stab mine for awhile, take a break.

[pegasinister]

[He laughs]

I'm almost insulted.

[jinglebros]

I know you are.

I would be too.

But I'm not concerned about that.

[pegasinister]

[He shakes his head almost fondly, then goes back to work, moving to the other leg

Stab: 5]

The more time to spend trying to convince me the fewer points you are earning.

Oh, I already stabbed mine a bunch.

I guess I can track down others...

[pegasinister]

[He shrugs]

Up to you, though I do not mind the company.

[jinglebros]

I'm gonna stay here for a little bit.

I'm sure you don't need the support while in pain, but.

[pegasinister]

I'm quite proud of my pain tolerance. And I intend to pace myself properly.

[jinglebros]

Tell me, how did you learn such a tolerance?

[ As if Aoi doesn't have one just as strong. ]

[pegasinister]

[He goes back to stabbing

Stab: 6]

My duties have to do with very dangerous secrets, and so I must be prepared for possible torture. ANd the only way to be prepared for it is to experince it.

[jinglebros]

Ah.

So either you sought out torture, or was glad it happened?

[pegasinister]

'Glad'? No, not exactly. I accepted it as part of my purpose, but I wouldn't call it enjoyable.

...though I won't deny it has perhaps colored my tastes somewhat.

[jinglebros]

So now you're interested in pain.

[ He pinches Hubert on the arm. ]

Like that?

[pegasinister]

[He swats his hand away, but more amused than anything]

It's difficult to study a subject for a lifetime and not be fascinated by it.

[jinglebros]

I mean, yeah. I get it.

[pegasinister]

[He moves to an upper arm, and said arm shivers and jerks as he stabs. He takes a deep breath

Stab: 7]

Still... I can't see the purpose of this little experiment.

Mental manipulation.

It's all Zero ever does.

So, how well do you know this 'Zero'?

I've seen how he operates.
