WEEK 1


[So, once Zero has said his peace, everything is quiet as the week dawns. A new Game. Nonary, Decision, Murder. All three. It doesn't matter. Everyone is here to kill or die. The coin has been tossed, the die is cast. The rules are set; the watches are active.

The question now is, why? Why is this happening? Why you? Surely no one is so desperate to kill on this ship, right? Not when the people onboard are so interesting and varied. Perhaps everyone can get along; perhaps there's a way off the ship without bloodshed. Of course, if there is, it might be be best to be prepared for a long stay-there's no doubt Zero won't make it that easy to escape. Then there's the matter that-apparently-people have new powers they did not possess before, while those the strangers once had are gone. Perhaps it's time to test those out and see what they can do if you're not Kira.

So, let's see what happens this week. Hopefully it will be a peaceful one.

Okay, good, just...worried. It's not hard to be taken advantage of, with an attitude like that.

[Something she knows a bit more than she'd like to.]

And...the feeling is mutual. You seem like a great person.

[She takes a breath, then shakes her head slightly, looking around.]

I hate this room.

[She's staring up at the little doll, the remains of blood still dripping gently down it, and her hands are trembling slightly as she looks at it.]

Maybe we should go.

I wish we could go outside....

Agreed. Best we can do right now, though, is getting out this death trap.

We could go to the rec room. Not the best movies, but it's better than nothing.

I think we should make popcorn.

I'll do that if you pick a good movie.

What kinds of movies do you like? There isn't much selection here....

Considering the situation, anything but horror would be good.

[No blood. Please.]

I can't decide if Titanic would be appropriate or inappropriate in present circumstances, but I don't remember much in the way of choice except for that and horror movies.

...in that case, go for a cheesy horror movie that's hard to take seriously, if there are any like that.

[She'd rather go through that than sit through the car scene with another person in the room.]

Hm... I'll see what I can do.

[She smiles at Anya before leaving for the rec room to begin sorting through movies, trying to find something that seems to fit the bill. Hm. What do they even have here?]

[Whatever she goes with, eventually "Madge" comes in with two bowls of popcorn.]

Wasn't sure if you wanted butter or not, and I don't think we're going to be dealing with a food shortage any time soon, so I made both.
