WEEK 1


[So, once Zero has said his peace, everything is quiet as the week dawns. A new Game. Nonary, Decision, Murder. All three. It doesn't matter. Everyone is here to kill or die. The coin has been tossed, the die is cast. The rules are set; the watches are active.

The question now is, why? Why is this happening? Why you? Surely no one is so desperate to kill on this ship, right? Not when the people onboard are so interesting and varied. Perhaps everyone can get along; perhaps there's a way off the ship without bloodshed. Of course, if there is, it might be be best to be prepared for a long stay-there's no doubt Zero won't make it that easy to escape. Then there's the matter that-apparently-people have new powers they did not possess before, while those the strangers once had are gone. Perhaps it's time to test those out and see what they can do if you're not Kira.

So, let's see what happens this week. Hopefully it will be a peaceful one.

Hey, so. If we're all doing this meeting thing--maybe we should introduce ourselves? Like, there's the profiles, but they're informal, you know? Why the hell would we just stick to that?

I'll start! The name's Kaito Momota, Luminary of the Stars! My other codename is Star-Lord, but...considering the cat's outta the bag concerning my name, I may as well be up front. I'm an astronaut in training, so one day, I'm gonna make it to the highest of highs and be among the stars! The situation is kinda terrible, but hey, if we work together, I think we can make it through and punch that dickhole who put us here in the face! As a team!

You can count on me whenever you need any kind of support.

I'll endeavor to be as helpful as I can, around my...limitations. This is not my body, and adjusting has been...difficult.

My name is Makima. I am the leader of Special Division 4 in the Public Safety department of Tokyo, Japan. It's an organization that responds to Devils and related threats. Most such beings are very hostile towards humans, but some are our allies; I hope my discernment can prove trustworthy. My hobby is visiting different restaurants and my specialty is carrying out theater hopping movie marathons.

My power as "The Familiar" here is to use a sword and move an object, as I've demonstrated for some of you, but I'll get into that later.

My name is Akane Kurashiki. I introduced myself as Violet before the full extent of Zero's knowledge became obvious, but... like Kaito said, it doesn't seem worth it to keep up a code name now. My brother, Aoi Kurashiki, is also here. W-we're orphans.

I don't know what Zero wants with any of us, but I'm sure that if we trust each other and rely on one another, we can find a way to all get out.

My name is Yoshikage Kira. I'm 33 years old. I live in a rented home with a woman and her son, though I don't recall any of the circumstances thanks to Zero - we may or may not be married. I work at an office. The work is about what you would expect of any salaryman. Though I try to avoid any sources of stress as much as I can, it has been difficult to do so of late as I am filling the shoes of the previous worker.

Nevertheless, I maintain the comfort of my routine. I get home every day by 8 PM at the latest. I don't smoke, but I occasionally drink. I'm in bed by 11 PM, and make sure I get eight hours of sleep, no matter what. Naturally, this is after having a glass of warm milk and doing about twenty minutes of stretches before going to bed. If I can continue this even here, I am sure I will be able to maintain a sense of calm within the storm. I offer that certain agreed upon routines may also be helpful to the group at large if we wish to carry on a peaceful existence here. That is what I would want most of all.
