WEEK 1


[So, once Zero has said his peace, everything is quiet as the week dawns. A new Game. Nonary, Decision, Murder. All three. It doesn't matter. Everyone is here to kill or die. The coin has been tossed, the die is cast. The rules are set; the watches are active.

The question now is, why? Why is this happening? Why you? Surely no one is so desperate to kill on this ship, right? Not when the people onboard are so interesting and varied. Perhaps everyone can get along; perhaps there's a way off the ship without bloodshed. Of course, if there is, it might be be best to be prepared for a long stay-there's no doubt Zero won't make it that easy to escape. Then there's the matter that-apparently-people have new powers they did not possess before, while those the strangers once had are gone. Perhaps it's time to test those out and see what they can do if you're not Kira.

So, let's see what happens this week. Hopefully it will be a peaceful one.

[Makima is, somehow, in an immaculate white long-sleeved T shirt and jeans. It is over a shitload of bandages. Including some dressing that is padding out the back of the jeans. She has leaned on Kaito's shoulder to get in here, but with her feet touching the ground instead of just up straight for show, and is sitting in a hard chair very straight.]

I have fear for some time that bad things may occur on this ship. Although in the case of murder there is a trial and execution process that seems it will be difficult to avoid even if that were desirable, there is a risk of other bad things as well. That fear has been validated recently. I do not believe in ex post facto legislation, but I cannot allow such events to recur. If such harm is ever perpetrated from now on, I will endeavor to completely prevent the perpetrator ever doing such things again.

I believe we should form the Gigantic Task Force and put such matters to a vote or otherwise develop guidelines for the future.

Uncertain, but if I die out here, I fuckin' die. Life is a bunch of screaming hellscapes from start to finish and I'd rather find out from my own fucking around than have someone else decide my regrets for me.

And what's to say this Task Force wouldn't secretly work together to commit bad things themselves?

Well, we'll cross that bridge if we come to it. The type of harm that has been inflicted so far is fairly easy to observe and trace. I believe that about five participants have inflicted over five stabs each. This is my main concern as it is an inefficient approach to the game and severely harmed others even before the penalty at the end came into play. Do you expect me to stand back and do nothing?

I'm very mentally strong, but this was something like the absolute worst case scenario. I can see it shouldn't happen again, so we'll have guidelines. If I have to take drastic action, I'll appreciate the understanding that it occurred in this context.
