WEEK 3



[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

[She's already decided. If her role is the Partner, if she's going to cooperate with everyone, then she can't just react to things. She has to be like Nagisa.]

I'm only starting to get the hang of mine, but I won't let that stop me. I believe we'll need to hold nothing back.

A measure of caution should be considered. I'd rather not end up in the same situation as Anya or Power.

I didn't mean to suggest an uncontrolled frenzy. Bloodlust can be tempered and harnessed. Just like sensei taught us.

...that's what I think Zero was suggesting was the key, anyway.

My class was tasked with assassinating our teacher, and we spent the last year training and attempting to do so. We learned a lot about how to wield the intent to kill for more than just mere murder. We used it for a lot more than that. It doesn't have to be literal - It's more about the mindset.

So when Zero said I should be able to figure it out easily...that's what I think he meant.

How do you mean? What else did you use it for?

A lot of things! Taking exams, cooking, defeating an unfair system, making others acknowledge our value - any obstacle can be overcome with creativity and the intent to kill it.

And I don't mean that as just, the determination to succeed no matter what. Even if it isn't literal, you have to see it as going for the kill. That's assassination.

Interesting. So you'd apply this mindset to everything, whih would allow you to complete it?

Yes! Nagisa-kun was the best of us at it. I don't think anyone here would stand a chance against him, if he meant it.

I still have a lot to learn, but I'm sure I can conquer anything with this approach.

It certainly is a very direct approach. I'll be interested to see what you're able to accomplish with it.
