WEEK 3



[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

I've been doing my best to make a strong impression.

I think Dante's just the kind of guy who gets stabbed so much it doesn't even count as memorable.

That's how I met him. I was trapped inside my sword at the time, so I kinda just...threw myself at him, trying to establish a dominant position so I could make him take me off the island I was stuck on.

Turned out, I underestimated his willingness to make an injury worse to avoid being stuck to the floor. So I ended up the servant, and helped him in his mission.

Yep. A clever idiot, but an idiot.

Yep. And he's half-demon, so he can shrug off things that would kill a normal human.

You can see why I assume he gets stabbed a lot.

Ugh, no thanks. Dante has used the stuff, but I'd rather not risk touching it unless I have to.

Wait, he used it even though it can hurt him?

How big are his balls?

A giant lava spider crawled up behind him and threatened to eat him, and his response was to insult him. I'm not sure he knows the meaning of caution.

Multiple times, though part of the credit for that is mine. I was lending him part of my power at the time, after all.

Aren't you the one who was admiring them yesterday?

That spider had been annoying me for centuries, I loved the chance to swat him. Especially since he was a servant of my worst enemy.

True, true. I've seen evidence.

It's gotta be annoying to annoy a demon.

Eh, temperaments vary, just like with humans. Phantom, the spider? Something of a hothead.

I have more patience, but I don't get along well with bossy, arrogant types.

That sounds kinda like how Zeus is in my game. I liked putting "Kick Me" signs on him. He'll never know it's me that does it~.
