WEEK 3

WEEK 3

[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

Are you talking in the sense of fabricated evidence? Isn't that actually even more of a speculation about whatever their "second" motive is? Doesn't a ritual sword or blood sigil perhaps make more sense?

[Thinking... thoughts.]

A ritual sword that wasn't actually used to take the blood? What kind of ritual is that? I suppose we have no way of testing the blood, though.

[He mutters.]

Yes, fabricated evidence is what I meant. The timing of us discovering the sword is too convenient, especially since it was behind the severed head that Anya says she did not witness when she placed it on the shelf.

But no one has a reason to fabricate evidence and truly make us never convict the culprit correctly at all. With the mass execution rule, only Anya-chan herself would want to do that, and the crux of the theory is trusting her word that she didn't.

Unless the fabricator's role was secretly created as an exception within the rules of the game?
onychomance: (It's not my fault I look this way)

Hm. Then it looks like we're both right.

I don't want to assume quite that much, but if there's a second incident, and we suspect misdirection when we look at the evidence from the start with a critical eye, then we can be sure.
