WEEK 3



[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

[ This is too close to a horse for Aoi. And yet not at all? ]

[ Ah. Well. Look at that. That's one heck of a thing to have inside the incinerator. ]

My, i've never seen a bird like that before... I can stay here while you run to get something for it, Aoi.

Ah, Roland!

[He'll give a bright wave.]

Glad to see you - yes, if you would go Aoi, he and I will stay right here.

[He's old and that's a lot of stairs, okay.]

[The bird is walking right up to the group. It appears curious about Aoi in particular.

Headtilt.]

Kweh?

[ Aoi backs up a few steps. ]

Uhh...

Glad to see you too, Moriarty!

[ Giving a small wave right back in turn, but now distracted with what the bird-thing was doing. Beaming in Aoi's direction. ]

Perhaps it likes you!

[He's gonna chuckle a little because haha, is Aoi scared of the huge bird?]

I believe so, Roland! I must admit, it's rather charming, isn't it?

[Takes another step forward, toward Aoi.

Turns to kind of bob its head at Roland and Moriarty.

Then back to headtilting at Aoi.]

Why -

Why is it looking at me?

[ Aoi is clearly terrified. ]

Oh, absolutely!

[ A moment to truly consider things, and then an idea hits him. ]

It almost seems like it wants you to maybe pet it?

[hatesdeerstalkers]

[Okay, Aoi being THAT scared of it takes the fun out of it. Without saying anything, he steps forward and takes off one of his gloves, raising a hand to the bird while making a clicking noise with his mouth.]

If I had my ability to speak with animals, I might be able to tell exactly what it wanted with you - but, seeing as I do not, I can at least distract it for the moment while you leave to get a treat for it.

[strangerpeople]

[This catches the bird's attention. It looks at Moriarty quizzically, then...gently nudges its beak against his hand. There's a trilling noise like a coo.]

[ Aoi gives him a grateful look and absconds for now, to get hte carrots. ]

[godspiousjasper]

[ There's a surprised look that flashed across his face as he looked between Moriarty and the bird, followed by a smile. ]

A great father figure AND you have a way with animals! You truly never cease to amaze me, Moriarty.

[hatesdeerstalkers]

[ROLAND PLEASE??? He laughs a bit, as he reaches to stroke the headfeathers of the bird gently.]

If I didn't know better, I'd suspect you're trying to butter me up for a nefarious scheme! Wahahaha!

In all honesty, it's nothing quite so amazing. Merely that animals appreciate certain things that are easy to give, if you know how to.
