WEEK 3



[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

[He takes the cup and runs it under his nose before taking a sip. Of all the people here he's the one he least would expect to try and poison him so overtly, so no reason to hesitate]

[It's a fruity tea! It's black and pu-erh with a hint of cranberry and...orange? And another fruit. It's got fruit.

And yeah, no poison, unless you're allergic to fruits.]

[He makes a pleased sound. Sweet things are usually not his forte, but he has a slight affection for fruit teas, especially exotic ones]

Yes, this is much more palatable.

Yeah! It's pretty good! I was surprised myself. I didn't think I'd like it, but...it really is a good mix, isn't it?

It is. I taste... orange and a tart berry of some sort?

Oh, yes! I'm pretty sure one of them is pomegranate. Not sure of the other fruits, but yeah!

Pomegranate... yes, I believe that is a Dagden fruit.

[He's practically sparkling with delight]

A country near by own. It's climate allows more tropical fruits to grow there.

I was going to say, I'd never heard of that place before.

Not surprising, I suspect I am the only one here from Fodlan.

Yeah, I only know of the US, Canada, Mexico....France...the Soviet Union...

China...and, um. Japan...Antarctica? I know there's more where I come from, but. You know.

France, that is where Roland is from. Otherwise-

None of those are familiar to me.

Another world, yes. That was my assumption. If other nations had this level of technology I have to assume they would have made contact by now.

Yeah, that's true...

what kind of technology do you have?

It is hard to say what would be of note, since it's all I've known. But I can compare to this ship. For example the glass "screens" Zero uses to speak to us are completely unknown to Fodlan. Any distance communication must be done through messenger either on horse or pegasus back, or by bird.
