WEEK 3



[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

I found about a dozen of them, all killed in different ways. I could see the roots, too. Roland wasn't anywhere nearby.

Different ways? But all with the roots?

[Now she's doing the sniff.]

This is... very strangely odorless. [It actually reminds her of a certain other passenger, but that's his business.]

The roots were on the walls, the creatures were in a pile. There was nothing buried under them.

I found this on the upper floor of the theater where the trial took place.

Oh, yes, it had more than one floor... Is it alright to go in and out of that place? Is it like C Deck, where passage is safe once the door has been unlocked for the first time?

[This is a big concern after Akane's story about the guy with the bomb in the Second Nonary Game.]

The door was unlocked when I got there, and I went right after we unlocked the deck. I don't know if it's been locked by now, but I haven't received any punishment or warnings.

I suppose that Zero does want us to investigate to a certain extent. It's strange. Such a powerful being yet with the desire to be known.

I guess that is strange. Sensei is my only frame of reference, and he was a little like that too.

Then again... Zero is human, as far as we have reason to believe, right?

There was talk of the bandaged executioner being his demonic form, I think? It may be incorrect speculation. But if "Sensei" can have those feelings, I think anyone can.
