WEEK 3



[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

[He is staying as far away from the creature as possible, of course. And for good reason, from the look of it. Shoe slips out just before the door closes and slinks around Kira's legs - he attempts to nudge it away mostly because orange hairs would stand out on his white suit, but it is to no avail. Someone has to be between it and the gator. Why the hell is there a gator? Why does it have a nametag like it's a pet? Kira is revving a bit. (Shoe resolves to sleep under his bed as cats often do under cars.) ]

No extra clothes, I see.

I did stow away a decent handkerchief, so textiles may not be a totally lost cause, but I do wonder now if this is doing more harm than good. I don't think such a little ship can possibly be good for all these animals.

[She glances back into the chapel and sighs, wondering how she's going to get Catcus out, before looking back and adjusting the arm in her hands. It's really inconvenient to carry.]

Well, once we've learned what we can from this, why not take it to the incinerator? That'll create a better environment for Riprazor McRockfang-dono.

[Did you know that the idiom, lend a hand or get a hand, is exactly the same in Japanese? Did this already come up in Kira's life? Well, you know now. Makima stands there eagerly for this to be taken off her hands, an idiom which is not exactly the same.]

Sure. Though if you stain your clothes that'll be a shame.

[Makima's lips quirk as if she is slightly tempted to laugh. By Makima standards, this is an enormous expression.]
