WEEK 3



[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

It's something I'm not completely familiar with, but it's just vampires that can have their 'true' names stolen and that's what corrupts them.

[ His scattered memories of Gévaudan said as much, as well as that first time things went down as well. ]

Corrupted vampires can even go so far as to affect reality itself, which truly can be a little jarring.

I'm not sure if it can happen to her, but... yes. I'd hate for something to happen to her since it'd be irreversible without Vanitas or his book here to fix it.

I think I'm faaaaaaaairly certain no one can accidentally steal a name from anyone, so if you don't tell anyone else here about that, I'm sure it'll never happen!

I'm more into stealing tangible things.

[ Roland reached out with a hand to lightly pat Hermes atop of his head, much in the way one would do with a shoulder but his robotic companion here didn't really have one of those. ]

I don't mind you doing so, but try not to steal precious artworks or anything that could be evidence, okay?

Oh, my mistake then. As I've said, I have no idea how vampires work. but this makes me wish there was a vampire mod out there! Or maybe official DLC!

A mod is a modification to the game, usually to enhance or change the game in some way. DLC is downloadable content.

So a... mod would allow you to 'be' a vampire if you had one... or have vampires IN the game?

Incredible! Games truly sound quite innovative to be able to achieve such a thing. I could.. play one and with a mod.. be a vampire without actually being one!

[ First he'd learnt about Televisions & Movies and now Games! So much fun! ]

At a later point.. i'd like to hear about more things from games if you'd indulge me, Hermes.

I'm not as knowledgeable on other games as I am for Fortuna. I'd ony be able to tell yo about the general idea of different genres...
