WEEK 3
[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.
As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?
And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.
Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

He's waiting in front of the incinerator when Roland gets there, holding his distinctive personal sword propped over his shoulder.]
You know, I can hand these off to other people.
no subject
Ah! Right! I forgot about that.
[ The look on his face absolutely speaks volumes how genuine he was about this.
Reasons why he's both stupid AND smart at the same time.]no subject
Talk about an airhead...

I have my moments, but given the circumstances... Can I be blamed for forgetting such a thing?
[ There's that usual ease as he shifts easily into his fighting stance now, lips curled into a challenging smile. ]
Now. Come at me, Alastor.

[He charges forward with an uppercut swing, immediately trying to knock Roland's guard aside.]
After all, if we have to pull off a rescue in the theater...

[ It's almost like he's a different person now, slipping into his fighting mode. His sword comes up so quick to deflect that there's a small hiss of sparks as their blades meet. ]
I'm completely prepared to do so. Vanitas will NOT die as long as I breathe.
[ He pushed back against Alastor, then took a step back, shifted the way he held his sword and went for a slash at his legs. ]

He jumps over the slash, his metallic wings appearing and flapping to give him a moment of lift to pull his legs up. Once sure he's clear of the blade, he flaps again to shift his weight so he can aim a kick at Roland's jaw before landing in a crouch.]
And Joe isn't allowed to die unless it's at the end of my blade.

A breathless noise of amusement sounded, the light catching the edges of those many swords as Alastor avoided his attack. He had a VERY short window where he caught sight of that kick coming, and it would almost seem surprising that he actually was hit by it.
The force seemingly sending him reeling back a step, appearing to stumble back before pivoting while using the momentum to whirl back around and push off the ground to launch himself back towards Alastor with one hand curled into a fist aimed right at his face in turn. ]
He's your rival, so I understand that. Nobody should have that honor of taking his life but you.
[ Closer inspection would reveal that Roland had made it look like he'd taken a much harder hit, though he'll definitely have a nice bruise there later. ]

A thrust of his sword follows, aimed at Roland's ribcage in the trust that even if the vampire hunter isn't able to dodge properly, he'll be able to cope with a cracked rib.]
Right? Him getting killed before we can settle things would be an insult to both of us!
no subject
He exhaled a breath and moved quickly to side step the blow, but used that same momentum to put himself behind Alastor smoothly. In that very short time, Roland switched his sword to the opposite hand and thrust it outwards at his demonic companion's side. ]
It would! So you clearly need to chastise him for being so careless as to let himself be caught by the likes of Delta and his ilk.
[ His tone's light, so it's meant to be good natured for the most part. Though also serious as this other man was supposed to be a hero and such. ]
