WEEK 3
[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.
As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?
And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.
Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

Of course he knows how to play with a doll. He was his Lady's constant playmate when she was the age such a toy was meant for. But... doing so just feels ghoulish in a way he can't enjoy. He knows he'll have to mime SOMETHING by the end, but for now he's just... here. ]

[Don't worry, Hubert, Gai never really had a childhood to begin with, so it's not as though he knows what to do with this sort of thing beyond what he recalls seeing Mana do that one summer.]

[He looks at his own doll, his lips pursing for a moment. Isn't that all she had ever really been to the GHQ?]
I thought the point of dolls was to inspire nurturing feelings in the person playing with them. Or was I wrong?

[Hmm. He's not surprised to hear that, but.]
I'd thought these dolls seemed too specifically designed to just be generic.

Is everything alright, Hubert-kun?
[Probably not, considering his copium huffing in the sauna yesterday...]

[he's drinking some depressio expressio, don't let him lie to you]

[No point pushing a playdate if he's not ready to do the voice.]

[He doesn't want to get punished. And Edelgard is quite fond of snacks]

[The doll vaguely presents the plate of crackers split into quarters that Makima slides over. She takes one, puts it into Chainsaw Man's mouth, and puts it back down. Then she retreats a bit.]
I'll be at dress-up over here.

[Since. Well.]
Perhaps the feeding, since it would be the least demeaning thing.

[He smiles fondly at the idea]

[Takes a look, the doll looks decently feminine?]
-she a fan of tea, mayhap?

Indeed. She is a lovely young woman.

[The doll in Zack's hands "talks".]
...Oh, right. Sorry if I'm playing with the dolls, but. I figured it's better than worrying about what might happen, you know? So I made mine of my baby sister.

Ah--Hubert!
[he'll come over, quickly closing whatever distance there is, but pausing when he notices the doll]
Oh, is that...[he glances back up to Hubert's face, trying to gauge his expression]
...is that Lady Edelgard?
[he's got his own doll safely tucked in his hands, cradled against his chest]

[he's studying Hubert's face with a slight frown of concern...and then, after a moment of thought--]
Let's go to the tea room.
[and he'll just invite himself into Hubert's space, moving to try and tuck his hand into his elbow and just start leading them towards the tea room]

Very well.
I know I said I was going to bed but
Are you interested in that pine tea you had last time? Or something different?
[and before Hubert can even answer, Brain is letting out a huff that sounds vaguely like annoyance]
You look like you're turning into an icicle. [he sure does sound annoyed, but he's also pulling off that warm green scarf he's wearing and making to push it into Hubert's hands] Put this on, at least.
