WEEK 3



[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

Yeah, kinda. Just hoped I could expect better from him, since he's half-human and the son of a devil who was widely respected for his sense of honor.

Guess with the way things have gone the past couple thousand years, human hatred of demons is just too strong for that.

Okay, I've read too many comics to not have my brain poisoned with the idea, how many demons actually fuck humans?

Because I know humans would absolutely fuck demons, that's not the question I need answering.

Not as many as used to, outside of succubi. Used to be...not quite common? But deals with humans were common enough that it wasn't exactly unusual for a devil to decide a human was interesting like that.

These days, most demons seem to hold humans in contempt thanks to Mundus spreading genocidal attitudes. I'm not sure if I'm the only one left who'd consider it, with Sparda probably gone, but I haven't met any halfbreeds other than his sons.

Most vampires don't really have much of an interest in humans unless they can get something out of it.

Guess that's a step up from actively wanting to kill as many as possible. Not sure if that means that the average vampire is smarter than the average modern devil, or if they just haven't had anyone in a position of influence try to convince them that such a weak species shouldn't be allowed to exist.

Not gonna lie, draining a human dry feels great, but the mess you gotta clean up? Fuck that.

Usually it's only done if one of us is real hungry, or, y'know, special occasions.

Also? How fucking stupid you gotta be to try to get rid of all the humans?

That's like a human saying "I really hate bread, let's make sure it never exists as a blight upon this earth again."

Personally, I think it's a bit wasteful to kill someone just to eat them. I prefer to stick to taking safe amounts unless I've got an actual reason to finish them off.

And...Mundus got his power through the Qliphoth, which needs human blood. I'm fairly sure he was trying to prevent anyone else from using the tree to become his equal.
