WEEK 3



[The week begins as last week began. But there's is a great difference-murder. It has happened. Blood has been drawn; it cannot be undone. The Game has made itself known. The Game is paramount. The Game simply is.

As morning dawns, those who were not present with the DEAD lock will find that the doors that were locked are now gone-and a whole new area has finally opened up to them. They will also find that they remember something they had not been able to recall beforehand. The question is, was it worth it?

And-is it you, or is the ship getting...colder as the hours go by? No, it's not just you. By the end of Sunday, the ship has started to dip into freezing temperatures. It might be difficult for people to bundle up-unless you're Brain, who will find his closet inundated with winter clothing that fit him perfectly.

Yup. This is going to be a long week, as if last week wasn't bad enough.

[Makima's eyes sparkle as she smiles mischievously to herself seeing Roland start to understand the appeal of scolding his doll. She nods at his request for confirmation.]

Yes, I'm glad they included the other chainsaws. Though he's adept at jumping in head-first, he'd be quite hampered if that were his only weapon. He's beaten many dangerous devils and even rival devil hunters who envy his success. He's our best hope to finally defeat the Gun Devil as well.

I can stick blades out of my legs too! And shoot out chains! It's epic!

[Makima molds his arm to do some kind of victorious fist pump.]

Too bad you're not a chasseur. We could have a vampire-devil hunting contest!!

[ Roland can't help but smile as he listens to her talk so fondly about this little Devil of hers, chuckling a little. ]

That does remind me I did pick up some little accessories they put for my own... [ They ARE in his pocket but hey. ] I'm sure with how highly you speak of him, that he'll take that accursed devil out.

[ The little doll Vanitas just seems to pause, and using his other hand? Roland puts what looks like a little knife accessory into his hand. Nothing threatening by any means with how tiny and insignificant it is, but the doll's head even gets tipped upwards slightly once he has it. ]

Like I need to be one of THEM in order to be able to take out my enemies. Though... really. How do you expect me to compare to someone like you who clearly has an advantage with those vicious blades of yours?

[ Somehow even managing to have the most indignant tone to the doll's voice now as well. ]

Oh, what's that? [Makima indulgently looks down at the little knife.] I'll hear more about Vanitas and his mission as well.

[Makima needs some effort to do this, but she makes the Chainsaw Man doll tilt its very menacing head back and its chainsaws clash together in crossed arms with a haughty click.]

Dude, it's not my fault you don't look like this! Your enemies are the vampires, right? Aren't you happy to be human 'stead of one of them?

[ Honestly Roland is just impressed with how much dedication she is putting into this. This little Chainsaw Man is such a character and it has him so enamored.

He makes Vanitas nod twice, and one hand rests on his hip. ]

Of course I am. Vampires are truly wretched creatures but I've made up my mind to save them, for I am a doctor who cures those who have lost their true names!

With this book only I can use!

[ As if indignant but proud, he takes a second to make it look like Vanitas put away the knife, just for a little book to be placed in its little doll hand. ]
