That sure is a trail of blood in the D Deck hallway where the bedrooms are. But. I'm sure it's nothing, right?

[Well, this place was no help at all!]

[Given that Gai is an infirmary regular these days and he needs to get some painkillers anyway, what's up in here today...]

[ Gai will first see the most obvious thing upon entering the room, as Akane did. There is a blood-covered sword on the floor. It's not the only thing down there, though. ]

[Oh here we go with the swords again. Fun for the whole family!

So what else is down there...]

[ Gai, prepare yourself, it's...

A medicine packet, it's normally neatly packed contents strewn across the floor. ]

[... well. This is something he's certainly very familiar with.

What sort of medicine packet? What's in it? Does it look like any of the contents are missing?]

[ The medicine packet is for nausea. Some of it is still in the blister packaging, some of it is on the floor. There's one thing all these pills have in common as to their state. ]

[... and what might that be...]

[ All of the medicine has been crushed to dust. ]

[And none of it has been used? Hmm.

He'll be taking this with him, along with that sword. Time to take a look around the rest of the room!]

[Well. He'll see, first off, some splatters of blood on the cabinets where said medicine probably had to have come from.]

[Are these upper cabinets or lower cabinets-- about how high off the ground are we talking here? And what sort of volume of blood is it...]

[Lower cabinet and on the floor. It's not a lot-most of it is faint.


A little too faint to be natural, actually...]

[Does it look like someone has attempted to clean it up in some fashion?]

[Yes.]

There's something glinting in the trash.]

[Not specifically, since it's empty, but it looks like, uh.





Could be that this once held poison!]

[It smells vaguely of almonds...maybe?]

[... so most likely cyanide, in other words. Definitely bringing this along with him.
