[Morning, Strangers! There's no sun shining, there're no birds singing, the threat of memory loss hangs in the air, and--oh.




That sure is a trail of blood in the D Deck hallway where the bedrooms are. But. I'm sure it's nothing, right?

[ Okay! Getting back to his feet, he'll then take a proper look around the room. What'll be the first thing he notices is amiss?? ]

[Well, first things first.

That footprint with the trail tracked in from the hallway. It's...smeared.]

[ Smeared? Like someone... slipped or... just done in a way meant to try and obscure who could have made it?

Either way going to take a better look at it. ]

[It looks like someone dragged their foot in some way.]

[ Hm. This could suggest someone having some kind of leg injury. Making note of this for later. Going to see if there's more of these odd footprints around.. and if not?

Seeing what else he can find here. ]

[Unfortunately, no. Just that one.


It looks like the washing and drying machines are all that's left.]

Going to go take a look at them! It can't be worse than that whole incident he had in his first week here. What's up with the washers and dryers? ]

[ There's stuff still in the washer. It's half done - washed but not dried. ]

[ Grimacing at the old memory that surfaced, he is just going to open the washer, reach in and grab whatever was in there! Not out of kindness.. but...

What's all in there? ]

[ Lots of pink stuff, to start with.

Like, pink fluid. ]

[ Give him a moment.

Pink fluid? As in his hands are going to have some of the pink stuff on it later? Is there actual clothing in here or just this stuff...? ]

[ The laundry is stained, his hands are stained, everything is stained. ]

[godspiousjasper]

[ The one time he's not wearing his gloves. Thanks. He really doesn't like this at all.

Does this... pink stuff at all resemble blood or anything in it's general smell? He's going to be trying to see whatever is all in here besides that odd fluid. ]

[ It's sugary, almost - but also vinegary. Will he taste it? Is he like Keith, long gone?

There also happens to be a bloody towel, hiding towards the back. ]

[ There's a long pause. Then another.









You know what?? Whatever. It's already all over his hands anyway so going to taste a bit off one of his fingers - prepared for it to actually taste awful - before going to actually grab that bloody towel to get a good look at it. ]

[ It's slightly bitter! ]

[ Slightly bitter?? Hmm. Odd. So it should be organic in nature?

Also.. that towel... how much blood is still on it? ]

[ It is very organic. You could almost say it's... cook-worthy.

Lots and lots of blood. Like it was used to wipe it up. ]

[ Cook worthy... hm. So it has to be some kind of food? Going to keep that in mind, setting the towel aside before quickly running to grab one of those cameras so he can take pictures of everything he'd found.

...also maybe seeing if there's enough of that fluid to put into a small container of some kind. ]
