[Fifteen X-Passes. You've finally done it. You can now go free. However, the price has been steep. Too steep.




True, you can leave. Anyone can, now. But simply leaving may be a bad idea. After all, who knows what else Zero has up its sleeve? Who knows what's outside of the HMHS Gigantic? How will they survive? How will they eat? And those are the easy questions that need to be answered. After all, the mystery of Zero, the mystery of Zack, the mystery of who is the cause of all of this and why-those things are also seemingly impossible to answer without some preparation. There's also the new area that's opened up that may yet yield more for the survivors to mull over.


Rushing is surely a bad idea. It's time to prepare. Take the time to get ready for whatever is outside. Stock up on supplies. Write what needs to be written. Say what needs to be said. Get ready for the possibility that whatever is out there, whatever the answers are-they will not be easy, and they will not be quick.


More than that, but-where are all these cuts coming from on your body? Hm. Maybe you keep bumping into things or scratching too hard. Did everyone save Roland get super clumsy or something all of a sudden?


Well. Maybe the answers to all that are just around the corner. So. Let's get ready. The end is near.

Assuming Akane knows mythology, she can probably guess that Charon will follow through on it.]

That means we should be free to head out of here.

Charon may smell like garbage but honestly you kind of get used to it here anyway, and so he is fully getting a hug for this one.

When she steps back she has the fire of determination in her eyes.]

Everybody! It's time! We need to open the X-Door!

[Nobody else seems ready to jump to enter them, and so Akane herself will walk up to the door and begin entering the xpasses.

Each turns green as they are entered. There is....a pause at EAGLE. One can be forgiven for worrying that that particular X-Pass was invalidated with Hubert's resurrection. However, it, too, turns green after that pause.

X-Passes accepted. The X-Door, when fully open, will remain so for 90 seconds. Once the door closes, it will not open again.

This concludes the game. However, game rules will remain in effect so long as I̵ ̶r̵e̵m̷a̸i̵n̵.̶ I̵ ̶s̸t̴r̵o̶n̴g̶l̶y̸ ̸s̷u̸g̸g̵e̸s̸t̴ ̵y̸o̸u̷.̷ ̸

[And so, the door rumbles open slowly until coming to a stop. Beyond the threshold is dim green light, faintly illuminating a a small ramp leading to a stone floor.

[Hermes nyooms off to his room, then shortly after, nyooms back with his stuff including a bunch of cats and a bat. He puts his stuff in Ritsu's car. This takes him less than 30 seconds.]

[ With that said, he hefted an unusual sword he'd retrieved earlier and began forwards while making sure those of them present are all heading out appropriately.

That includes the 12 foot dragon and such, too. ]

[Akane is going to start running, because she doesn't know if there's a second door at the end of the tunnel that will also lock at the end of the 90 seconds but She Knows How These Games Are, That Could Happen.]

[And this is why Ritsu loaded everything she could up to the catillac. She is flooring the gas. Fastest way to get a bunch of provisions and smaller creatures from one place to another available to them.

That said, if anyone's paying attention to her expression, she looks a bit distraught. But that's fine, surely.]

I'm not sure what the price is, or if Charon will charge one for this, especially if we're all still in the Underworld. But if he swore by the river Styx, he intends to keep his oath.

[She turns back to Kira, smiling radiantly in a muted shadowy Makima way, hand out in the universal gesture for "pick me up and put me on your semivisible motorcycle", which is not very universal.]

[He would have done this ages ago and has just been getting antsier. Out come Kira's saws, the bike rising around them, and he places Makima on the seat she can't see before he gets on himself.]
